One of my favorites. CAUTION THIS BOOK IS SCARY AS HELL. written by one of my favorite authors, makes a movie in your head, and not a very pretty picture to be visualizing. If you read this, you MUST read the next in series

awesome series. Demonata is an awesome series. In my own opoin I think it's better then cirque du freak. It's a must read if your into horror books. I love this book but don't want Shan to make it in to a movie cause they messed up cirque du freak.

Shan has made another masterpiece.. This book was great, from the moment I picked it up and read the first page I was hooked! I even gave up my old book that was a Newberry winner. I'm still on the 5th one but am loving the series almost as much as the Cirque Du Freak. Though it it is very scary and gruesome, I loved the book and it's followups all greatly. Shan has outdone himself in the fast paced and gruesome Demontata that will leave every reader thirsting for more.

:O !. This entire series was amazing. All the twists and turns made your head spin ! It would be super cool if they made a movie for this series, but only if they don't mess it up and use all the parts D: ! All in all, YOU SHOULD READ IF YOU HAVE A STRONG STOMACH AND ARE INTERESTED IN HORROR AND GORE. and yes, I'm a girl and read this book, so I also encourage girls to read :) !

The best in the world. I like this series a lot and I like the humor. If u can't handle people getting killed, or should I say obliterated, then don't read more than 29 pages. I'd have to say this series is a little bit better than cirque du freak but they are both still great. Only wimpy kids can't handle this. The books are perfect size, not too big and not to small. It's crazy action packed and well explained. It's worth the money.

Easy, fun, read.. I went from reading Michael Crichton's work to this and it was difficult because it becomes a bit more elementary and repetitive, but the story is well thought of, spooky, and fresh. Definitely a great read-finished in just a few days.

Must buy. Best book series I have ever seen but buy and a must read u have to buy all 10 I give all books in the series 5 stars

Great book!. Couldnt put it down! Gripping all around, finished it the same day I downloaded it! Great ending too, not like most books that have a weird ending that leave you hungry. Worth buying

Amazing,spectacular, BEST BOOK SERIES YOU'LL EVER READ IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE.. Since I picked up this first book I fell in love. This books are amazing and you want to keep reading till you also meet an end! There's lots of scary and gruesome grisliness and it keeps you interested every second. Every book is amazing and I recently read Blood Beast and Demon Apocalypse in 3 days. So far my favorite is Demon Apocalypse and every book gets better and better as now I'm reading Wolf Island. YOU MUST BUY THESE BOOKS AND READ THEM IN CORRECT ORDER FOR THE BEST READING EXPERIENCE OF YOUR LIFE!!!

The Best. This series is truly one of a kind, there are many twists and deaths, but it makes a great read.

Better than I expected. Amazing start to an awesome (and somewhat disgusting) series.

Best horror book I've read. This book really kicks off the series. I loved Cirque Du Freak but this book takes the horror to the next level. This is my favorite series by Darren Shan. This book was amazing and kept you on the edge of your seat. It's a must read for horror fans. Also the gore in this book drives the story forward. It's not there just to try to make it a horror book.
