Brave girl eating. This book helped me so much. I can relate to so much of what the author and kitty were going through. My 13 year old daughter is a year removed from the start of anorexia and after residential and inpatient and outpatient treatment we are struggling on a day to day basis. It was helpful to read this book for support and helpful ideas.

Be very careful. I have a daughter who has recently been diagnosed with AN, and I was excited to read this book to get some information about what treatment will be like. What I was confronted with was a narrative about a girl almost exactly like my daughter almost dying. I have heard of this book helping others in my situation, and my wife found it valuable. I have to admit I am perplexed by that, though all people are different. If you want straight information, this is not the book for you.
