These Is My Words. From the first chapter, I was hooked. Heartbreaking and yet a wonderful read!

Amazing!!! 10 + stars easily!!. This book is truly an amazing read. I had the hard back, but I loaned it to another friend and it was never returned. When I got this book app, the first title I searches was this book. It is about life in the 1800's. Those people were resilient and very determined. They faces a lot of trials and tribulations while moving to the west. It truly, truly is an amazing book. I would have paid $1000 for this book in this app. I'd like to challenge you to read this book. It will make you appreciate your life and how easier we have it.

Simple, elegant tale of life in the Arizona Territory. Nancy Turner's first novel introduces her readers to the indomitable Sarah Prine Eliott, whose "words" bring to vibrant life the trials and triumphs of life in the Arizona Territory in the late 19th century. The story unfolds in a series of journal entries, recounting in wonderful detail the daily struggles of the people who risked everything to establish homesteads in the Territories.

Great. Enjoyed every bit of it. It read like a true personal journal.

These Is My Words. I absolutely loved this book! I loved it so much that I ended up reading ALL of Nancy E Turner’s books. I loved the history in this book, and almost felt like I was on that wagon train with them. I felt all of the joys Sarah did, as well as all of the heartbreak that she endured. I highly recommend reading this book followed by the other two books in this series. Then you can wrap it all up with Light Changes Everything that tells the story of Sarah’s niece. You won’t be sorry...

Great. Although it's easy to see some modernity in a "diary" that was set long ago, the rich characters make up for it. I couldn't stop reading!

A tender story of strength!. Sarah will forever be my hero, and Jack will be my all time crush and ultimate love. Sarah's first person narrative begins naive, but grows with wisdom and strength as she confronts life's challenges. Mrs. Turner's beautiful writing style shares Sarah's intimate thoughts and feeling so tenderly that I couldn't help but cry. There were humorous moments that made me lath aloud. Felt so real!. I truly thought this was a real journal of a pioneer woman. Downloaded it on recommendations from several friends and didn't really know much other than they really liked it. So I began my read thinking Sarah was a real person of our pioneer heritage. Even after learning the truth, that is was a work of fiction, the story rang real and as true as actual accounts I have discovered through Mormon pioneer journals. It has all the elements of adventure, suspense, horror, love, tragedy, and humor. The kind that gets you through rough times. It lifted me up. I enjoyed it thoroughly!

Great characters!. This book, about a young woman in the Wild West growing into a tough woman with a large family and a loving husband, is wonderful. You get to know and care deeply about Sarah and her family. A great read, it made me think of my own great grandma coming across the states in a covered wagon.

Instant classic. I couldn't put it down. I think I liked this book just as much if not more than To Kill A Mockingbird. The heroine is refreshingly honest and unique. I highly recommend reading this book!

Such an amazing book. I read this book and could not put it down. Sarah Prine is one of the strongest female characters I've ever read about. And yet she also realizes that she does need others to survive. She is amazing, there is such heartache and yet such an amazing love story. I have also read Sarah's Quilt and The Star Garden which I HIGHLY recommend as they continue on with the story. By the end I felt as though I was part of their family and felt their trials and joys. Such an amazing story

Secret treasure. This book is beautifully written The people come alive for the reader though the heroines words. A wonderful yarn!

Believable. I felt this book was truly believable and could not put it down! There were moments of joy, utter frustration and sadness and just the right amount of predictability. This book will not disappoint.
