GREAT BOOK!!!. Iv read all of the twilight books and this makes twilight look like crap once you start you can't put it down. I couldn't even put it down long enough to pee and I usually get bored with a book really fast. If you want a really great book read this you won't be disappointed

Beautiful. This is most definatly NOT your normal vampire book! It's a must read if your truly looking for what a vampire should be. Very much so a pycological thriller. There's a large amount of depth in all of there charaters. Defiantly worth the purchase. My only problem was the very literal translation where your left with broken and fragmented sentences. Besides that it's beyond a good read. And as some others have mentioned I would LOVE to know the story through Eli's eyes. And even better a continuation of this amazing story.

Great book. I love the book and both of the films (Let The Right One In and Let Me In) I would highly recommend this book and movies to others.

Loved it!. I saw the movie that was made from this book and really looked forward to reading this. As is usually the case, the book was so much more in depth than the movie. I was so disappointed to come to the end. Not your regular vampire story and a far cry from the Twilight series, which in my opinion is a very good thing.

Sucking Fantastic. This book was SO AWESOME that I told everyone I know to please read it! I seen the American version before reading and had loved the movie. That movie inspired me to read the book and fulfilled my expectations and then some! Of course, after reading the book I had to see the Swedish version and it also did not disappoint. The book fills in everything and I love love love it!

Aaaaaaaah. I've read this book 5 times and I have the Swedish movie and the American one ( the Swedish one is better ). I love how dark and emotional this book is and I was first freaked out by Eli's "secret" but I think it showed how much Oskar loved him as a girl first, but then as his friend. Oskar accepted Eli the way he was.

Very good read. I read the book before I saw the movie and loved them both. As is usually the case, the book developed the characters much more fully than the movie could. Once I started this book I could not put it down. So original and fresh.

If This Title Referred to a Book, this book would be the right one.. This book is one of the best written books I have ever read. By far one of the best vampire books out there. The vampire mythology isn't far from that of the original, except instead of vampirism being a curse as in most older mythologies it is an infection. If you love vampires, niavities of children, and love in is purest form this is the right book for you!!!

simply amazing. heartfelt,brutal, and sometimes, seductively disturbing, this is my favorite book now! if you saw the movie it kind of ruins some scenes because theres no suspense considering you already know what happens.

brutal. A lot more brutal than the sweet movie. One star deducted for a somewhat mechanical translation.

Got very boring half way through.. The story became predictable to a numbing degree, had to drop it. Every page felt as if the author was stalling for some big scene that simply never came.

Magical. I really enjoyed the book with its more in depth analysis of the characters but watching the movie first takes away a lot of the suspense from the book primarily because you already no what going to happen. I seen the film (Swedish version) and I must say it is a work of art, an absolute masterpiece of a film. Such a beautiful and magical film. The (American version) let me in is horrible.

AMAZING. 1000 times better than both movies!!! Just wish there was a second book to go with this one....

Deliciously unique. Wonderful read but surprisingly not as good as the film, which intelligently left out some of the subplots that contributed nothing to the story.

Great. This is one of the greatest books that I have ever read. Haunting. It has left a lasting impression on me. I first saw the English film "let me in" from there, I read a sample of this and immediately bought it afterwards. First ebook purchase I've ever made and I couldn't be happier. It is truly captivating, so much so that I could not put my iPad down. I read it cover to cover in Three days.

Great book. This is my favorite book. This book not only ventures into many characters' lives, but also into their minds. As you read this book, you will notice that nothing (characters, motives, situations, etc.) can be easily defined, Even after you finish this book, you may continue to question it. This book had a great plot, had great characters, and was well written.
