Bad App. This app will not scroll threw the books I would like my money back. Please don't waist your money :.( David Baltimore

Not the best edition. From the cover illustration, I had thought that, out of all the various slightly different "King James" editions that have appeared over the centuries, perhaps this was the original one with the original translators' notes. Instead it appears to be just your average King James Gideon-style Bible tjat you can get for free in ebook form everywhere.

Weak App. Not a good choice. The table of contents is about as cumbersome as it gets. It lists every chapter of each book as an entry (e.g. Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, etc.) which means that to get to the New Testament, you have to scroll through about 30 pages of chapters (Gen 1 - Mal 4). As far as I can tell, there is no shortcut to any book. And if that weren't bad enough, today it won't even scroll so I can't even use it. The only good thing I can see about this app is that it includes the Apocrypha.

The King James Bible. This is by far the best .99 cents I ever spent. The cover is truly historic and amazing and the content organization in this bible is perfect!!!

The Word. This is my favorite version of The Word. Now I can bring my iPad to Church to follow along with the Bible readings.

Great. The person who remarked about the various authors needs to understand English better before commenting. Moses and David wrote portions of the Bible, the rest is written by Israel's prophets, kings, statesmen and apostles - all under the inspiration of God. There is a book that is dirty, but it isn't the Bible - the commenter above needs to look closer to home.

'various authors'. 'various authors'. - not David, Moses, & Jesus? adulterated by the hands of imperfect men?

Poor navigation. Almost entirely useless. Yes, the text is there but the Bible is not a novel and almost no-one will want to read it like one so good navigation is important. Unfortunately, there is no way to navigate properly. If you want to look up say John 3:16, there is no way to go directly to it and the only available ways of navigating are so slow as to be totally unusable. I am sorry to say that I feel I have wasted my money. Come on God, surely you can do better than this.
