Excellent book!. This is my favorite book of all time. I cannot recommend enough for anyone interested in general history or the byzantine period specifically.
Plagiarism?. Read John Julius Norwich's "A Short History of the Byzantine Empire." This book as so many literally direct sentences taken from that book it isn't even funny. Or they will rewrite a sentence changing only 1 word. This book seems to be completely fraudulent.
Fantastic. Just like the podcast, the book is well laid out and exciting to read. The last chapter nearly brought me to tears. Highly recommend this book!
