Fascinating read!. Started out a little slow but really got into it about 1/4 through. Truly fascinating account of a tumultuous time in America's history as well as unforgettable characters. A good example of truth being stranger than fiction! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Excellent reading. What a great sense of history you get from this book. Truly worth reading
Great read. Reading these three different stories that converge into one is entertaining. Great book. However, author should give Pierre Berton's "Klondike Fever" more references as some of George Carmack's story is very similar to what Berton wrote in 1958.
The Floor of Heaven. This book is very different from what I usually read and I am not disappointed with the read. The author did an excellent job bringing the past to life in a very interesting way. A book that is hard to put down once you begin. I would recommend this book for all to enjoy.
