Amazing!. The Unwanteds: Island of Silence, is one of the best books I've ever read.

Pretty Good (SPOILERS). As much as I enjoyed this one, I didn’t absolutely love it. It felt like well, if this book is about the Island of Silence, then the next book should ONLY be about the island of fire. It felt like it should’ve ended with Lani and Samheed being saved, but it didn’t. I was truly disheartened to read the news of Mr. Today, and thought he was an amazing mage. So, I enjoyed it but thought it could’ve had more.

Good, but not great.... SPOILER WARNING: First one was honestly much better, this one is well... Quill is actually a very important part in this! This book sets up the whole rest of the series. While it’s not quite as good as the first one, it’s very important to read if you want to have any idea what’s happening in the next book. This is pretty much the over-all plot; A few months after the battle of Artimé and Quill, and the death of the High Priest Justine, Arron Stowe, Alex’s evil wanted twin brother, assembled a group of other wanteds called the restorers, and together they plot to destroy Artimé, and all the unwanteds with it. Their is a small touch of comedy throughout most of the first half of the book, but the second half gets kind of dark. MAJER SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Two mysterious kids come to the island with thorns in their necks, Samheed, Lani, and Magen go to a strange silent island and get thorns put in there necks, and are taken prisoners, and pretty much... MAJER SPOILERS UP AHEAD!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DIDN’T READ THIS YET, AND YOU PLAN TO, TURN AWAY NOW!!!! SERIOUSLY!!! HUGE SPOILERS!!!!!!!! TURN AWAY IF YOU DON’T WANT SPOILERS! Recommend. I read this when I was 13 (The main characters are 13 too) I felt such a connection and wished this was my life.

Amazing. This is a good book for lovers of fable haven Percy Jackson and the Kane chronicles its the perfect balance of realism fantasy and magic and it is hard to put down coming from an 11 year old that's a small feat . I'm hoping theres going to be another book in the series
