Better Than The Prayer of Jabez. This is another Wilkinson book I read nearly a decade ago. It is linked with the Prayer of Jabez and explores John 15 (1-2, 5, 8) - "I am the true vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit." Secret #1: If your life consistently bears no fruit, God will intervene to discipline you. Secret #2: If your life bears some fruit, God will intervene to prune you. Secret #3: If your life bears a lot of fruit, God will invite you to abide more deeply with Him. We are created to glorify God so we must cooperate with His ways and respond in obedience and trust. Although Secrets of the Vine was not as popular as The Prayer of Jabez, I feel it is a much better book.

Short, sweet, encouraging. I loves this little book. I read it one night on my iPhone and it gave me visually the perfect message for the struggle I was/am having with brig disciplined by God. Great read for someone feeling cut down to realize that God is lifting you up.
