Initially, appellant challenges the sufficiency of the evidence to support the conviction. Appellant was charged with the murder of Cheryl Covey in Arlington on June 24, 1976. The State sought to hold her criminally responsible for the acts of her companion, Mike Lipp. Although there was direct evidence of appellants participation in the events leading up to the offense, the State relied on circumstantial evidence to prove Lipps actual commission of the offense.
