Different wording... In this ebook Bible Mathew Chapter 24:8 it says it’s the “beginning of sorrows.” When I’m my real Bible KJV says “Beginning of Birthing pains.” Some words and phrases are very different then then actual KJV Bible.

Had enough with the scrolling. I have loved this app in every other way, but I can no longer deal with this scrolling through every single book to get to the book I want to read. Especially if I use it in class, it makes it un-useable. I waited for an update.... Sadly, I can no longer wait.

Missing Chapters. So I was looking for a specific verse in Galatians and as I’m scrolling throught the book, I realized that Galatians chapter 4 is just totally missing. and there is no galatians chapter 4 in the drop down option either. how does someone just skip a whole a chapter and not notice. very irritated.

Poor Decision. After reading this book I have found numerous contradictions throughout. It says that this God being is all loving yet he wipes out the entire population of earth except for a few people? He also kills the first born of all the pagans in Egypt and was still considered all loving? This book is a load of crap.

King James Version. The King James is still the towering version of the Bible in English. It has errors, and is more abstruse than later translations, but none can match it in power and majesty. It was written when English as a language was at its height, around the time of Shakespeare, and only Shakespeare himself rivals its greatness as the highest peak in the range of English literature. As for the mythological importance of the Bible, nothing can be said that can be adequate. Its depths, particularly in the Pentateuch, are beyond fathom. For better of for worse, it is the foundational text of Western Civilization. It has been fashionable for roughly a hundred and fifty years to dismiss it as barbaric, bloody, false, and divisive. But this is to miss its central significance, as perhaps the most complete symbolic map of the human condition ever recorded: only the Vedas and the Buddhist sutras equal it. It is also common to hear it denounced by science as irrelevant; but it speaks of things of which science is yet ignorant. Its primary truths are symbolic, and contain so many levels of meaning that it is almost as infinite as the human consciousness itself. Those who interpret it literally, and would force on the world their own interpretations of it are guilty of great crime. They are no different from the terrorists of recent history, and have not evolved since the atrocities of the Inquisition. The Bible, like all great works of human genius, is a personal journey, and an inner one, not to be rammed down the throats of others, but taken as a touchstone for one’s own relationship with the infinite.

Not working. This doesn’t even open!

We love him as he first loved us.. JESUS IS SOOOO GOOD! If you have come to know him through reading his word, than I am praying that he would show him self to you every day. Sometimes it doesn’t make sense, but all that the Bible says is true. We as Christ’s followers should never doubt that. You may find that different versions write details a little different. This doesn’t mean that they are either right or wrong. I hope that you will see that we love him because he first loved us (you can read about that in 1 John 3- 4.) We can not say that we love God but hate our brother. For we have not seen God whom we say we love and hate our brother whom we see every day P. S This is scripture. I am only quoting Jesus’ cousin,

Terrible translation. There are way better translations that are more accurate then the KJV. For a free book, it’s fine if you want general themes. If You want to study scripture, get a different version.

Holy Bible. Interesting that after studying this book word for word, for some people it’s a book of creationism. There’s a lot of stories based on testimony, surely nothing believable.

a bit much. A bit too long imo Got thru most of the first part, but skipped through some of the more dull lists of names, historical events, and such; a few good stories here and there. Wasn't a fan of the homophobia, sexism, and support for slavery. (yikes) Part 2 was a bit of an improvement; it started slow, but got more interesting as it went on. Some of this guy's ideas are pretty solid, but I'm a bit shocked to have never heard anyone else defend them! Honestly became a bit communist there, not gonna lie. Overall it was better (and easier to parse) than the first part. All in all, it was a bit lackluster for how much is written in it; also full of numerous historical and scientific innaccuracies, archaic attitudes, and defenses of inhumane behaviors! as well, it had several instances of self-contradiction! Definitely over-hyped for such a lengthy and insipid read.

Book. Good

It’s Okay.. It drags on a bit, but comes to a thrilling conclusion at the end (spoiler alert). I wasn’t a fan of the slavery or homophobia. I especially liked when there was a whale that swallowed one of the protagonists and miraculously survived. The second part was kind of boring, but the first part had some action that I could not put down.

I give this true Bible 5 stars Because it is the double edged sword and the only true version of and Biblical Book writers are 13 wonderful profits of God, Some may say different, however I for one think this bible is poetry & music to my ears. The Best. So I have seen some people saying that if you think that the kjv bible is the most accurate then don’t call yourself a Christian. Let me just make this clear, your opinion on the Bible doesn’t make you a Christian your faith in Jesus is what makes you a Christian, and yes I know that this kjv bible is different from the original kjv but that doesn’t give you an excuse to decide if someone is Christian or not mkay. Holy Bible. I like it when Jesus has come alive again, but what I don't like is when Jesus has died on a cross and two angels came to tell the women and said, "Jesus is not here. He has risen! " I like this book. I think I should read it every Sunday School day.

Good read. This is missing some extras, but overall accurate.

Which is the best version?. The King James Version is the “standard” Bible, but being a ‘version’ it follows that it has been edited, not by God, but by man, some 1600 years after Jesus died. Which bits are missing? Was anything added? Give thought to that you mid-west Bible-belt people who believe that every word is true. And, while I’m at it, can anyone explain why there is absolutely no description of Jesus, arguably the most important figure in the history of the world. We know considerably more about Buddha who lived some 600 years before Jesus than we know about the Son of God.
