Zugleich spürt er den tiefer liegenden Gründen nach, warum und wie Mohammeds Offenbarungen in einem abgelegenen Winkel der damaligen Welt und seine unbedingte Forderung nach einer Unterwerfung unter Allah der menschlichen Zivilisation ein neues Gesicht gaben.
