Eye roll inducing. This was an easy read but I didn’t enjoy it. The characters were one dimensional and it was very cliché.

Taken nowhere. Didn’t care for any of the characters, therefore it brought me nowhere.

So wonderful!. Deep meaning with light hearted air! Truly fab!

Just okay.. Just okay.

No Preservation Order necessary. On balance, a waste of time. All of the characters are stereotypes, none likable. No plot, just an old money family living their privilege. Boring in the extreme.

Tepid goings on in Brooklyn Heights. While ‘Pineapple Street’ is an engaging and easy read, the whole theme of a WASPy old money Brookyn Height family and their travails comes off as a bit forced. Names of renowned and not so renowned Brooklyn establishments are thrown around with abandon and minimal context. And the life events confronting everyone come off as ‘Dynasty’ like. Enjoyable for what it is.

A joy to read. Sometimes one needs a heart warming read for pure enjoyment. For me, Pineapple Street filled the bill!

Disappointed!. Another "haves" vs "have not" read and appeasement to the left.

Summer Read. This book was the perfect summer read! The characters were engrossing though outrageous at times and the plot kept me entertained. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next book from this author.

Beautiful Self Discovery. The whole story was an inside look at the dynamics of a generationally old monied family. There really wasn’t a plot except that circumstances caused several characters to reflect on who they are and why they are that way. Once they did that, the book was simply over. I loved the characters and hoped for more, but once they each figured out what their own hang up was, they were a new person. You didn’t see their relationships grow after that. There could have been so much more.

Pass. Do not spend money on this waste of time book. Boring and pointless
