El Arte de la Prudencia o 'Manual de Oráculo y Arte de la Prudencia' es considerado una obra maestra de la literatura barroca española, escrito en 1647 por Baltasar Gracián y Morales (1601 - 1658), escritor, pensador y jesuita español, es una obra perteneciente a prosa didáctica. El libro contiene trescientos preciosos aforismos comentados, que ofrecen un conjunto de normas y pautas para salir adelante en una sociedad compleja y en crisis, como lo fue en su tiempo y como lo es hoy, ya que el hombre no ha cambiado prácticamente nada en su esencia. La obra trae un conocimiento tan relevante que fue traducida al alemán por Schopenhauer e influenció a otros grandes pensadores como Nietzsche, Voltaire, y Jacques Lacan. El Arte de la Prudencia es una lectura muy interesante, enriquecedora y necesaria.
