Witches beginning. I loved learning about the moonfell witches and their wonderful 500 year old history.. I really hope to see more characters switch around and appear in the other related series. White Haven Witches, WhiteHaven Hunters, and the Storm moon shifters. If you like fantasy that has witches, magic, strange creatures and happenings, these series are terrific, please start with book one in each series, so you can see how events unfold and how they link.

A wonderful Holiday story. Snuggle in with your favorite hot beverage and escape to the world of the Moonfell Witches. I loved getting to know these ladies and their ancestors also this story leaves you with a warm feeling. I can’t wait to see what adventures they have in the coming years! This is a must-read Christmas book. A bit different from other books by TJ but equally amazing, full of good feelings and all that is great about Christmas / Yule time. If you are familiar with TJ’s books you will love it, normally all her books keep me in grip and on an edge of a cliff and I love all her characters with drama, mystery and a bit of crime and detective works wrapped in magic and legends. This book …. well …it made me cry – with the good tiers and warm feeling in my heart. Great read and a great introduction to the Moonfell Witches. TJ Green is just like to gift that keeps giving – and that’s all I will say without revelling any spoilers 😊

A Magical Introduction. The First Yule is a glorious novella to introduce the Moonfell witches and their magnificent, magical home after a couple of brief appearances in other TJ Green books. The setting is totally magical, the house and garden come alive in the words and it is very atmospheric. I love the alternating chapters set in 1523 and 2023 and the 500 year celebration of Moonfell. I’m looking forward to full length novels about the Moonfell Witches and getting totally immersed in the magic.

Yuletide Magic Begins. I have loved getting to know the Moonfell Witches, how they began and up to the present day. Sibilla and her family, right up to Birdie, Morgana and Odette, the extended families, it hits every beat. The atmospheric house and gardens, the secrets hidden within. It starts at the very beginning, and we journey between the past and present day as the story unfolds and the magic begins. I have been intrigued to learn about the Bees, and the folklore surrounding them. TJ Green, your imagination brought everything to life for me. In my opinion you are an author who brings magic to the pages, weaves the reader into the story, so that we become invested in what happens to the Moonfell Witches. I'm blown away by The First Yule, and I cannot wait to see what happens next! I highly recommend this book, and once you do read this you will be bewitched 👌🏻 Edit
