Amanda Scott. Wonderful story teller. The trilogy was captivating. The stories blended seamlessly. I wish I were more knowledgeable of the geography that she spoke about, but that only added a bit of mystery. Her description of the characters and their emotions was thought provoking and really exceptional. Well done!
Border Trilogy. I read the first book to the end hoping there would be something redeeming. Nada. First this lady’s father, then her husband punish her with spanking—and not of a romantic type. Rather, humiliating. This author seems to get off on her heroine being humiliated in other ways as well. Could not bring myself to read the next 2 books. Ugh
