Fresh off a top-secret mission to deliver uranium for the atomic bombs that would ultimately end World War II, they are unaware their ship is being watched. Minutes later, six torpedoes are slicing toward the Indy . . .
For five horrifying days and nights after their ship went down, Harrell and his shipmates had to fend for themselves in the open seas. Plagued by dehydration, exposure, saltwater poisoning, and shark attacks, their numbers were cruelly depleted before they were miraculously rescued. This is one man's story of courage, ingenuity, and faith in God's providence in the midst of the worst naval disaster in U.S. history.

I believe that your crowns, that will one day rest at the feet of Jesus. like all the others will have special meaning of praise to God and all will understand even more how much God watched over us for His purpose and all will shout Paise to God. OUT OF THE DEPTHS makes me see life with God one day at a time and each day has purpose and meaning even when kaos seams to have taken control, But Faith in God, controls kaos. I cannot concieve such kaos, but God did choose the Crew of the Indianapolis the special mission not only to impact the World but to Glorify Himself. ThankYou Jimmie

Out of the Depths. Amazing book. Very well written. I could not put it down till I finished. Will purchase hard copy books to give as gifts.
Too bad .... A great story by a survivor. But all the God stuff a total turn off. If I'd known at the beginning it would be like that, I'd never have read it. There are many other books on the Indy I can recommend highly. Not this one. Yuck.
