Crescent moons prophecy #2. CHAPTER 1 Crescent stretched her wings and pounced on her opponent. She pretended to claw the chest of her sister, Luminescent. “Argh! The pain! You win, you cruel DeathWing!” Her sister fell back and stuck out her forked tongue. “Haha! You will never defeat me, Queen Lumin!” Crescent stated. “You guys are supposed to be studying!” She looked over and saw her brother, Sombra. “We are studying!” Lumin protested. Sombra narrowed his eyes and shrugged. “Oh whatever. You’ll be sorry when you get stumped on the first question of the pop quiz!” He taunted. “Pop quiz?!” Crescent exclaimed. “Yeah. I already passed it!” The black striped NightWing bragged. “You think you’re so smart! Because you hatched first!” Crescent said this in a sarcastic tone. “Stop arguing! You’re gonna get wrinkles,” Lumin said between the two quarreling dragons. “Well I- '' suddenly the trio looked over to an egg rolling down the Highcave floor. The three dragons exchanged a glance and jumped after the egg. But it fell over the ledge before they could get to it. They looked down and saw a pale gold SandWing catch it between his talons and fly off. “Hey, get back here!” Lumin shouted out to the SandWing fugitive. “No, Lumin! You’re too young to be chasing after egg thieves!” Her brother shouted and flew after her. “Darn it, dumb NightWings!” Crescent said under her breath. She sighed and stretched her wings into flight. She flew through the scent of her siblings trying to match their pace. Mist surrounded her as she glided through the air. Her siblings’ scent faded away, and she could no longer see them. She was alone and lost in the middle of the mist. She flinched as she heard a thud in the rocks below her. She decided it would be better if she didn’t go down. She continued on until she came upon a small hollow cavern. She hid inside it as it started to rain. Great! She thought. Now I’ve lost my siblings, can’t find home, and I’m stuck in the stupid rain! She saw a shape flying through the wind approaching her. The freezing rain was creating smoke off of the dragon's scales. She squeaked as it flew into the cave and she dove behind a stalagmite that protruded from the cave floor. The dragon folded their wings and started breathing heavily. Crescent peaked her head out of her hiding spot. “Err… hello?” She echoed. “Bah! Who are you! If you’re here to take me back, I’m not going!” The young dragon exclaimed. “Take you back where?…” Crescent asked as she stepped forward. “You're not a SandWing guard!” He acknowledged. “Wow, good thinking genius,” Crescent muttered. She twitched her tail. “I’m Crescent Moon. I’m a NightWing.” “Wait. Can’t NightWings read minds and foretell the future?!” The sandy dragon questioned her. “I… uh… y-y-yeah?” She stammered. “I’m Stranded! I’m from the SandWing hollow,” Stranded explained. “So what happens in my future?” “Err… I don’t know how to look into the future…” Crescent admitted. “How did you get here in the first place?” Stranded asked. “I was chasing my siblings out of my cave,” she responded. “Oh,” Stranded said. “Well it’s a good idea to not go out there again,” he said, pointing into the rain with his talon. Crescent sighed and sat down with a hmph. Stranded imitated her and sat down with an exaggerated “HMPH!” “Queen Rattlesnake always acts like she is so great!” He complained. “Queen Rattlesnake…?” Crescent echoed. “You don’t know Queen Rattlesnake?! She’s, like, the most powerful Queen! She certainly reminds us enough,” Stranded added. “She doesn’t sound like a very good Queen,” Crescent said. “Oh yeah, you’re totally right. She stinks,” Stranded said as he kicked a stone out of the miniature cave they were hiding in. “Let’s rest. We can part ways in the morning,” Crescent decided. “Yeah, that’ll be good,” Stranded agreed. Crescent stretched her wings and laid down to rest. She slowly drifted off into slumber, thinking about what she would do in the morning.

I love this series. I’m OBSESSED with WoF, and I’m starting to like this more than Warrior Cats (a book series by Erin Hunter that I’m sure most WoF fans have heard/read). It has all of my favorite things — action, prophecies, an interesting world, characters you can really get attached to, romance that’s not super cheesy, and mystery! It can get pretty dark sometimes with the blood and death, so if you’re really young or can’t handle these things well, it might not be the series for you. I’d say it’s suitable for those who are ten and older in the other aspects, but for the darker parts, I think the 12+ readers will be perfectly okay. Lastly, there are three separate arcs. The first one are books 1-5, and if you aren’t too sure about the series, try to read this entire arc if you can. The second arc is 6-10, and it does have some LGBTQ references, but it is a very small aspect. The third arc (I believe) are 10-15, and two prominent characters are lesbian, so if you don’t want to read about LGBTQ, then just read the first arc. If you were just here for the review, you can stop reading mine here ^^ Me and some other WoF fans talk about the books and share our OCs in the comments without having actual reviews, so I’m trying to provide some helpful information about the series! •-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-• I doubt any of you will be able to help me with this, but if you are familiar with anime, I need help finding the name of a certain character I found a while ago in memes and whatnot. I’m not allowed to look stuff up online, so I’ve been trying to find the character by looking through many, MANY manga on Apple Books, to no avail. It’s a pink haired femboy who I’m pretty sure is on the cover of an how-to-draw book called How to Draw Manga, a Guide to Drawing Cute Chibis. If it’s not him, the character looks pretty close to the actual character, so if you go and look at that book and if you can recognize the character, I’ll be so happy :3 If you also know where they’re from, that would be awesome too! Until then, though, I’ll just be here thinking until my brain rots 😅😅 - Shimmer Ps. A real review. First I’d like to say I challenged myself to review all of the wig books. This book gets a 4/5 because the beginning, though needed, felt slow. But part 2 was packed full of action, and part 3 was very well done. Thank you Tui!

Good book…BUT. WHAT IF is a series we are ALL familiar with. Or should be familiar with. I shall be posting a WHAT IF in each book from 1 to 16. Feel free to share your opinions because I am always open to what other people think. Ok let’s get started Edit: For those who don’t know, I’m talking about the Skywing egg Hvitur was carrying. #1, what if the Skywing Survived? We all know that this is always a question for all WoF fans, me included. I believe that if the Skywing would have survived, he/she would have maybe made the dragonets fight more. I know not all Skywings are grumpy and grouchy, but with the Skywing being raised by Kestrel, it might have grown up to think that it was better than the rest. Being very self centered and selfish. OR!! The Skywing could have been very nice and not like the idea of war and be totally honest and kind and agreeable and everything a Skywing normally isn’t… 🙂 Anyway… On to the next. #2, what if Hvitur and Asha sUrViVeD?!?! I believe that the dragonets would have had a much happier life under the mountain. With Asha loving dragonets, she would have made an excellent mother figure. And Hvitur is rumored to have been really good with dragonets as well, so he would have been a good father figure, next to Webs (who was ok). Anyway, that’s it for this book. I might post something in the next book, you never know. So, bye for now.

Review and story. This book honestly would belong in a case in a museum. After the first time I read it, I read it again and again until I decided to go to the next book. Really good, Tui! Story CHAPTER ONE PART ONE HOPE IN THE DESERT ScarSoarer was never into his school programs. Especially his history program. ScarSoarer was a peasant of the tribe, and never really wanted to go to school. But if he didn’t, he wouldn’t have met SlingShot, FlameScorcher, or Xing. The only thing he really liked about school was battle training. He never in school gotten less than a A+ in it. At first he was scared about it, but then after going against dragons 5 years older than him, he felt really confident about it. ScarSoarer was usually a shy dragonet. He usually never wanted to leave his room. But his parents always get him out of the house. “ScarSoarer!” Slash called. “Time to leave for school!” Slash was ScarSoarer’s mom and she had adopted him 3 years ago. So that left the Question to ScarSoarer: ‘Who were his actual parents?’ And if possible, ‘Who were his siblings?’ ScarSoarer lept out of his room and flew as fast as he could to school. He could hear his mom yelling bye to him, but the air rushing past his ears swooped away her goodbye. ‘So. First day of School year 3.’ He reminded himself. ‘Can’t be late on the first day. He rushed past his neighbors while they were saying their salutations to him. “Hi!” He called back to his neighbors. He always said that because that’s really all he had to say to them. He swooped down to the concrete floor and walked inside the school. ‘Alright. First things first, say hi to your teachers. Second, try not to fall asleep. Third, Do the best you can.’ “Hi, Mrs. Cacti!” He said to one of his teachers. Wings of fire. Someone spread a rumor of gay characters I think there thinking about winter and qibli from the second ark/prophecy but spoiler alert qibli and moon is how it goes so read the book it’s amazing. I should say why it’s amazing and a OC. I love the characters and that there are so many characters with different personalities in ever ark/prophecy and that it’s a mix of darkness and light. And for my oc, Tribe Stormwings Abilities has deadly lighting breath and the power to blow you away with one beat of there wings moves faster on storms and if egg struck by lightning can summon tornados. Queen queen storm kingdom on top of largest cliff on the continent. My stormwing name hurricane my egg was not struck by lightning, mother queen storm father dead name tornado. When I finished book 5 I was so sad I literally cried. And then I read book six, than was sad, than read book 7, than was sad and I’m now currently reading book 8. Once again, this series is awesome
