POPULAR!. I heard this book was good but OMG! This is SO inspiring and I can't believe Maya is only fifteen! I LOVED it!!

Yes Yes Yes!. I have to say, I was excited from moment one. The prospect of the whole thing was extremely intriguing and I just couldn't help but indulge in my curiosity. A social experiment is always a fun thing to do and reading about them can be very fun if you have the right writer. Maya has definitely captured the perfect way to write and keep you reading. It's not only the information of reactions and such, but it's so much more. Thoughts and feelings are intertwined with comical dialogue and even cute little tidbits that can make you laugh out loud. A must read for anyone, especially teenage girls "popular" or not. You can really feel her heart through the pages, and that's what makes it so heartwarming in my opinion. Boy am I glad my Book Club chose this one!

Outstanding. I go to the same high school as the author and have had many classes with her. I never knew all these things about her. It was truly inspiring and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic read. I am 25 and I fully enjoyed everything about this book. I truly wish that my middle school self had read it. If you have a child going into middle school/high school, get them this book! It's full of beautiful lessons and observations that every teen should experience!

So relatable. In my early years of middle school I was a complete nerdy wierd-o kind of like Maya. But in 7th grade I started coming out of my shell and making new friend. I am still by no means popular but I have a great group of friend that I love. I'm starting High School next year so this was a perfect transition book form middle school to high school. And now I kind of want some purls.
