El Cambiazo es una canción que canta el ídolo juvenil Lito Suárez, y que va cambiando una estrofa semanalmente de acuerdo a las sugerencias enviadas por sus fanáticos.
A su vez, el coronel Corrales, padre de Julia, está encargado de mantener el orden frente a las subversiones de un país en dictadura.
Así, este cuento es un relato coral que se va intercalando en cada párrafo, distintas voces. Experimentando así con un prosa muy natural, que suena tal cual se habla, para dar mayor énfasis a los atroces hechos violencia que se asoman y que sorpresivamente, irrumpen junto con los últimos versos de la canción inventada por todos.
