Not worth the read. This has to be the dumbest profiler working with just as dim witted police department. From the beginning of the book it was obvious who the murderer was and I was desperately hoping I was wrong... There are few pages of love making scene that belong in a different type of book if you are into that and the only "interesting read" is last chapter.

The profiler. I loved the book.I couldn't put it down. Will definitely read more of her books.

Loved it!!!. I loved this book. I could not stop reading until I finished it! Can't wait to read more from this author!

Caution!. Harlequin Romance masked as suspense crime thriller. These type of books should have a warning label. Unbearably slow, redundant, unimaginative and a complete waste of time. I suppose there is a female audience out there for this type of drivel, but I would hate to meet one of them. Ugh.

Meh. This writer has promise, but the story had an obvious plot, both in the murder and romance. Hopefully future endeavors will be better

Good read. Would have given this book 5 stars but got so tired of gratuitous 4 letter words for body parts and sexual acts. Got old.

Awesome!. Loved it! This mix of lovestory and also at the same time the story of a psycho killer! Couldn't stop reading!

The Profiler. Started out OK. Foul language scattered throughout but really became objectionable near the end.

Profiler. Good storytelling

Very good!. Great story with plenty of twists!

Great Book!!. Can't wait to read the next one.

The Profiler. The story line was weak at best. From the first airport cab scene the reader knew who the perp was. The writer should take time to interview real detectives about real cases.

You get what you pay for. I can't believe I actually managed to finish this book. Very poor writing and very obvious plot.

The Profiler. A great book and one you won't want to put down! Second time I have read this book, and enjoyed it just as much as the first time!

The Profiler. Very good story line. A stand alone story in a series.

Romance novel disguised as murder mystery. I should have researched the author before downloading this book. She's an avid romance novel reader, and it's prevalent in this story. I ended up rapidly flipping pages to get through the tawdry, needless and useless stuff. I was looking forward to an Ozzie AFP and Sydney mystery. A real disappointment.

Don't bother. Very quickly you know who the killer is. I finally stopped reading because the who done it I already knew.

Great book. Suspense & a little romance

Disappointed. As much as I wanted to enjoy this book, it just isn't well written. And too predictable.

Mystery/bodice ripper. Cliché ridden dialogue, preposterous plot, soft porn sex —this book has it all, and so much less. Anyone looking for an intelligent, engaging mystery with well drawn characters should run hard and fast away from this book.

The Profiler. Liked the book. Mystery with romance what more could anyone ask for. Will have to check for your other books. Thank you!

The Profiler. Terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Was this some kind of Vanity label? I can't imagine a publishing company paying good money for trash like this.

A love story. I was looking for intrigue and convoluted twists and turns that goes along with the search for a psycho. Instead I got a love story. I could not even complete it. Big disappointment for me!

Awful Writing. The storyline is good, but I could not get past the substandard writing. The main characters, Ellie and Clayton were forever gulping air, starving for oxygen, and had blood rising up their cheeks. I've read all the Michael Connelly and Stephen White books, and this author doesn't come close to that caliber of writing. I was interested in the book taking place in Australia, but very little history about the area was included. At the end, when Ellie was supposedly gagged, she asked Lex questions...and then she was gagged again in the next paragraph. The reader assumes the serial killer was shot dead by Clayton, and then Ellie talks about all the murders he told them about. It was as if no proofreading occurred, and the ending was revised without making all the changes. So glad I didn't have to pay for this ebook. I will not be reading anything more from this amateur author.

Really bad. I have easily read over a thousand books but have never felt the need to write a review, until now. The fact that I even finished the book was an exercise in tenacity. The female lead spent most of the time wallowing in self pity over the loss of her son, believing her loss to be far more substantial than anyone else's, and lashing out at the male lead for multiple reasons each more asinine then the last, when she was not doing that she was mulling over the case and missing clues that were almost painfully obvious . The male lead was not bad, however as a profiler he kinda sucked. The way he responded to and dealt with the brutality of the murders made me question his level of experience as a profiler, further more I could not believe he never once questioned what the murderer was doing with the body parts, nor did he come to the realization that the guy had almost a full body. All he needed to finish it was a head. The authors writing style really wasn't bad, but the story line sucked. Thank god the book was free. Oh and totally agree with NerdyBookwormgirl. Couldn't have said it better.

Decent Plot, Nauseating Love Story. I bought this book because I thought it was a mystery. However, I ended up skimming through about half of it--the nauseating love story parts. The author uses just about every cliche ever written to describe the interactions between the Profiler and Ellie, one of the local police officers. Honestly, I literally was groaning aloud while I was reading some of the passages or frantically searching for a barf bag. Unless you really dig romance novels filled with throbbing, heaving, blushing, swollen body parts, I would forego the Munro series and move on to some decent mystery series. I recommend books by Stephen Booth, Peter Robinson, , Colin Cotteril, and Ruth Rendell.

The Profiler. I found this book to be very frustrating at times. I found the two main characters to be real jerks at times. The fact that the two characters refused to tell the truth to each other for most of the story just made me grind my teeth. Some of the descriptive sex was laughable. As a profiler, he didn't do much good through most of the book. I doubt I'd read another book by this author. Sorry.

***Spoiler Alert***. I was very disappointed with the ending. The killer is caught, but his wife, a clear accomplice, goes free because there isn't enough evidence to incriminate her? Chris Taylor, what the hell is wrong with you? Detective Ellie was kidnapped, beaten and tied to a bench when the wife walks in and discusses the cover up with the husband, then tells him she will lie to the police when they come to the house looking for the victim. This entire conversation takes place right in front of Detective Ellie as she's being held captive. What more evidence do you need? I can't believe you completely overlooked that and let the wife off the hook. A good author does not make careless errors like that. I Won't be buying the rest of the series.

The Profiler. Not much profiling - more love story than anything. Rather trashy novelette!

Readable. Not bad but not that good...I'd worked out the plot by about half way but I did read to the end. Overall I thought the plot lacked the element of suspense or surprise. Plus despite its title there was precious little actual profiling...more of a love story than a crime thriller & thus not really my thing. This was book one in the series but I have no plans to read the other nine.

Great book. Well-written and engaging. Recommend. Thank you.

Awful. One of the worst books I've ever read both in content and grammar

The profiler. Really enjoyed this book. Cannot believe it was free

Well worth the read. Loved this book from start to finish 😊

The profiler. Loved this got so caught up in characters story, was left wanting more.

Read. Good read can't wait to read the others.

Dreadful. It got worse as it went on. I thought it was a thriller but it's Mills & Boon with a murder. The female character should get herself checked for asthma as she's so breathless all the time. Ridiculous ending. Don't waste your time with this one.

Disappointing. Basically just a long drawn out love story with a bit of murder thrown in. Predictable and repetitive.

Girls book?. Didn't really like this although I did finish it. It's typical hunky chunky angst between two main protagonists so predictable that I could have given up but the murderer kept me interested, although still not enough to convince me that the book is not really much more than an oversimplified romance. The fact that both were left single, good looking, suffered immense loss, and perfectly matched was almost sickening!! No more of these books for me thanks.

Terrible. Page after page of lust, insecurities and boring dialogue! The serial murders were total sub plot and terribly expanded. Ooft really bad novella

Great read. This was the first book I've read after uni. Really enjoyed this and I would recommend it to others as well. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series!!

The profiler. Fantastic read, couldn't put it done from the first page!

Edge of your seat thrills!. I love Ellie and Clayton’s story! There are so many different aspects from both sides, and the characters are fantastic, I felt like i could relate to them in ways, and that back stories make you understand and sympathise with them too. The danger and excitement in the book had me on the edge of my seat for the entire read, I couldn’t put the book down! I was sharing the characters emotional journeys with them too!

Profilier. This was a good book worth the read I enjoyed it very much will be reading more of Chris Taylors books as they come out as I am sure they will be as good.

Wow. Such and amazing book. Amazingly written and I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Love it!

Loved it. Fantastic book. Recommend it to anyone

Great paced read. Fantastic, fast paced book that you just can't put down. Well worth reading.

Sensational!. Absolutely the best book I've ever read, cannot believe the plot twists throughout. Very very happy with what I've read.

This book. This book is ......................................................... So amazing and at the same time so bad 😖😖😖😖

Page turner. Wow I loved this book. Great story line, couldn't put it down. CSI/romance mix.

The Profiler. Profiler, the first book I read of Chris Taylor. I fell in love with Clayton and Ellie at the beginning of the book. I was also impressed with the characters aboriginal heritage. How Chris twist romance and suspense throughout the book. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Australian romantic suspense with a twist.

The profiler. Thoroughly recommend this one! Great book. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Entertainment. This author unknown to me kept me reading,I like the short strong story line, the villain died to easily but other than that a great read

The Profiler. Loved it. Couldn't put it down.

The profiler - Chris Taylor. A brillliant work. Riveting until the end. So we'll written.

Review of The Profiler. I have always loved detective novels. I came across your novel searching iBooks for something good to read. I was thrilled to not only come across your novel but “as happy as”, to find the book was set in Australia. Not a day has gone by that I haven’t sat in bed enthralled and unable to put the book down. I absolutely love your style of writing. And found the subject matter wickedly intriguing and easy to read. Thank you for your book, I absolutely adored reading it, and look forward to reading the rest of the books in this series.

The Profiler. Wow, what a fantastic first book. To me the sign of a great book is when I can't bear to put it down and that's how I was with The Profiler. Kept me on the edge the whole way through and am now waiting patiently for Chris Taylor's next instalment in the series.

Not my kind of story. It is a romantic explicit sex story, disguised as detective!!'!!

My thoughts. I truly enjoyed this book and was looking forward to reading more about Ellie. Now it seems like the series is not about her. Because of that, this will be the last book by Chris Taylor that I shall read. My rating will be at the bottom even though this book was fantastic.

The Profiler. Very good story

Best boooooooks ever. Completely obsessed. Every book in the series is amazing.

Stop deceiving by calling these "mystery". It's romance/soft porn, disguised as a mystery novel. If I wanted this, I'd buy Harlequin. I'm just glad I didn't pay for this. Suspense? What suspense? It was predictable from page one

The profiler by Chris Taylor. Not impressed .... Should be rated for soft porn..... I enjoy a good suspence/mystery....not this! Will NOT recommend

The Profiler. Interesting read. It does drag a little, but for a lazy day of relaxation, it is pretty good.

Good. But too much romantic goo

Average. The story starts strong and keeps you engaged, but it dilutes slowly to the point it gets boring towards the end. The final is forced and unrealistic. The coincidental meet in the taxi is plain silly.

Couldn't Put It Down. I loved the book, can't wait to read the next in this series. It was well written, the characters were well developed and believable. So you should stop reading reviews and start reading this book.

Exciting ride. This was the first book I've had the pleasure of reading. The plot unfolded, and the relationship between Ellie & Clayton sparked. I was pulling for them both. I am ready for the next book.
