Simply Awful. I love Dan Simmons, but I can’t remember a book I’ve enjoyed less than this one. Slow, dreary, and boring, where barely anything happens, and what does happen is just depressing for the sake of being depressing. Avoid at all costs.
Must read. This book is a journey worth taking.
