What Else by J.M. Thompson Book Summary

Sam was married to Shanty and they had four kids. However, her eldest son was not fathered by Sam. He never raised the issue but the boy began to0 show signs of being disrespectful towards him. He began to refer to the boy as Shanty's son. Shanty noticed the change of attitude and she worried that her marriage might fall apart. She decided to send the boy to his biological father. Unfortunately, her efforts to save her marriage fell apart when she met Joshua. He was already in the business of making sordid movies. Shanty decided to revive her career as a porn star privately. She became involved with hardcore people and she moved out of the house. Sam was by no means an angel, he was just as rotten. He became involved with Shanty's cousin, Jenny, without knowing that she was Shanty's cousin. She recognised Shanty's photo in his house and she told him that Shanty was her cousin. she had an old grudge against her cousin so she decided to stay in the house. They had a steamy but short relationship because Jenny's past caught up with her.
