Kulapati Ekkirala Krishnamacharya, más conocido como Master EK, fue un Maestro en Sabiduría Antigua y un curador en su sentido verdadero; fue escritor y poeta y un ritualista de muy alto grado. Educó a muchos aspirantes de Oriente y de Occidente en un modo de vida cuyo contenido es antiquísimo, pero cuya forma es actual.
A lo largo de sus treinta años de incesante actividad, distribuyó la Síntesis del Conocimiento y formó a muchos aspirantes, dando cientos de seminarios sobre la Sabiduría y escribiendo más de cien libros en inglés y en telugu. En India también fundó un centenar de centros para curar a los enfermos, utilizando la homeopatía como sistema de curación gratuito y enseñándola gratuitamente.
Fundó también escuelas para educar a los niños en las tradiciones de la India, enseñándoles los valores humanos universales además de los conocimientos que se enseñan en todas las escuelas.
El Maestro EK fue el fundador de The World Teacher Trust (Asociación de Confianza en el Maestro del Mundo), y a lo largo de sus visitas por Europa distribuyó la Sabiduría Eterna en países como Bélgica, Suiza, Alemania, Francia, Dinamarca e Italia.
Sus tres últimas visitas a Europa en los años 1981, 1982 y 1983 fueron muy extensas (así como intensas), y en ellas tocó temas muy diversos. Su manera tan versátil de exponer la Sabiduría y el espíritu práctico de la verdadera enseñanza animaban a quienes le escuchaban a entrar en acción y a experimentar el camino del discipulado.
