Mr.. I’ve used this and the rest of Dr. Bernd’s Dissection Manuals, and each one is truly fantastic. Anatomy is a notorious course, but the books honestly made a huge difference. From the crystal-clear explanations and pictures to the useful quizzes, you won’t be disappointed either.

Fantastic Anatomy Resource. I have used this manual for an entire semester and it is extremely helpful! It is so well organized, with a glossary feature that is easy to use and has clear, detailed photographs that are especially useful when studying at home. No other resource I have found can compare! I highly recommend it.

Nothing compares!!. This iBook is really something great. It allows you to view real pictures and follow along with step-by-step guidelines. Each bold-word structure is clickable and has an entire definition, along with context about it. There is a huge glossary that is extremely helpful when you want to quickly look up some keywords. AND there are quizzes at the end of each chapter to help you master the material. This tremendously helped me for my anatomy course, and I definitely wouldn’t hesitate in buying it!! Love it so much!!

A great resource for anatomy. Used this book as supplement for dissection and it was spot on. Great pictures and easy to understand instructions as well as detailed descriptions of where to look and what to expect. It is optimized for mac devices, works seamlessly in expanding images, using links, and searching for specific items. Would highly recommend this.

Really amazing ressource!. All of Bernd’s dissection manuals are really really helpful. I was initially struggling with anatomy, but these manuals made everything so much clearer and allowed me to make it through with flying colors! I highly recommend them.

Combines physical and digital learning. In addition to being a full-time dental student, I also work for a start-up that creates physical toys designed to interact with learning apps for pre-K and elementary aged children, so have spent a considerable amount of time over the past couple of years preaching the benefits of combining digital and physical play, and making the iPad 'come to life'. This e-book has lots of great features that a standard e-book has, but the interactive features, such as image enhacement, glossary, video, and flash cards, make it great and help to make learning clinical gross anatomy fun by applying some of the first principles of learning to ensure you'll retain the material. I love the interactive quizzes - I know from our research studies for our business that something as simple as physically having to drag and point to items enhances learning and retention. In an age where most students are opting to skip out on purchasing books (myself included), this is one NOT to skip. It is the only book I bought this semester and it is the BEST. I'm so happy I'll have this series to reference in years to come.

Very Clear and Great Features. I used this lab manual for my class and it has helped me so much. You can click on any terms in the manual while reading the lab that you are unclear about and a whole description pops up with charts. It is very organized and the pictures are extremely helpful! Definitely recommend this if you want to have clear description and images of the body.

great anatomy guide!. Clear instructions and great pictures of cadavers. The glossary is very detailed and incredibly helpful. A must have for any medical or dental students learning anatomy.

Easy to Use!. This dissector is so great because it walks you through each body region step by step. If you don’t know a certain term or you’d like to learn more about a body part, there is a comprehensive glossary that appears when you click on the term. This iBook is so easy to use, I highly recommend it!

Incredibly helpful tool. I can’t imagine how I would have gotten through anatomy without this manual. The most helpful parts are the quizzes at the end of each dissection and the glossary- you can click on any key term and find a definition, other information and diagrams. Definitely worth your money!

Must buy!. As a dental student, I found this manual to be the most clear, concise and straight forward aid for learning anatomy in the lab. This and other ibooks by this author should be in the arsenal of any dental or medical student who wants to learn anatomy effectively.

Hands down the best resource. I’m a medical student and this dissection manual is AWESOME. I’ve been using it (and the other dissectors in this set) throughout my first semester of medical school and it’s really fantastic. The pictures, the quizzes, the easy-to-use format were all excellent. There’s a flashcard feature for each chapter so you can test yourself on everything. There’s also an immensely useful searchable glossary for all the terms, which I use all the time. I didn’t use any other resources for this class, other than my professor’s notes. Definitely recommend.

Best way to learn anatomy. I have used this book instead of the text dissector and its been absolutely amazing. The photos of real cadavers make identification of structures so much easier. There is an amazing summary quiz at the end of every lab and you can tap any term at any time to bring up an in depth glossary. Do yourself a favour and switch to this book today. It will make all the difference in the world.

You can’t get anything better!!. This is a wonderful book that breaks down the complexity of clinical gross anatomy into segments that are conducive to interactive learning. There are quizzes at the end of each disection to test your knowledge of the material, and if you want a more in depth explanation of term the glossary is absolutely wonderful. It has a great explanation of the topic and pictures from different perspectives that really help you understand. I have tried using multiple other resources, none of which compare to this dissection manual. Its the best thing going on the market.

a must to accompany your dissection!. fantastic resource with real live dissection pictures of the best dissections. pop quizzes after every section and a glossary that could be a textbook in and of itself. super user friendly with bolded anatomical terms that link to the glossary page for that structure. highly recommended!

BEST Anatomy Guide!!!. I took gross anatomy in two different schools and using this dissection manual made the second time around so much clearer! It’s so simple to navigate, much better than using a traditional dissecting book where you waste so much time looking for the structure you need. Very clear, excellent pictures. The pictures in this dissection manual are a VERY useful complement to illustrated anatomy textbooks; all the pictures here are of actual dissections, so you see what organs/nerves/arteries really look like instead of a pretty drawing. I highly recommend.

M1. This book is an incredible resource for anatomy. The step by step instructions are so clear and every term is linked to a glossary with really helpful information. I used the glossary all the time throughout the course and it explained things better than any other resource out there. The quizzes are excellent and allow you to test yourself before you go into the lab, which I found very helpful. This is a must have for anatomy!!
