Planteando un juego donde la narracion se hara a traves de la vision y uso de las ropas del estilo del siglo XVI, Manuel describe y narra la vida de la Reina Juana de Castilla, una mujer visionaria dentro de una sociedad machista que no la reconoce como reina, aunque lo ejerce, sino la reduce por su condicion de mujer y sus desplantes a ser encerrada, declarandola loca, y asi terminar sus dias en 1555. Se plantean varias preguntas en esta novela-si en verdad enloquecio de amor, o los celos y la impotencia la hacian tener exabruptos que los irracionales sacerdotes y gente de la corte la catalogaban como loca.Ofue victima de las intrincadas redes de la politica y ambicion. Como una vidente o espiritista, Lucia acepta que Juana la Loca entre en su cuerpo y su mente para contar su vision de los hechos.
