Surprising. This was an unusual setting for a romance novel. Rural Alaska is not the norm for a love story, however it worked in this one. Haley had an immediate lust hate attraction for her neighbor Gary. The three brother added a fun aspect to the book. Who saw that things from Gary's past would explode like they did. A surprising element in how this love story ends.

I laughed until I cried!. Oh my goodness, I couldn’t put this book down. I wasn’t sure I’d like it reading the first few lines but I gave it a chance and I’m sure glad I did. Super funny! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series.

Great book. I was hooked from page 1. It has well written and realistic humor. The sex scenes are great. The story is fantastic and unique.

“Two Cabins, One Lake” by Shaye Marlowe. This fast moving, humorous romance is set in the wilderness of Alaska. The heroine, Helli, is a fishing guide during the season. She also supplements her income by writing spicey erotic romance novels. All is calm and tranquil on her lake until a new, gorgeous neighbor moves down the beach from her cabin. Immediately, there is tension between them with all of his extremely loud antics. However, this fast-paced story has such well developed, lovable characters, that through all their antics, this reader just hopes that these unique personalities will appear again in another novel about their lives & loves in Alaska! -Jan Repath

Really enjoyed this.. I loved the Alaskan setting! This was so different from a lot of HEA stories. The heroine is actually a strong woman, unlike most stories. This was hilarious, the feud, the brothers and all the pranks. Learning some things about Alaska was enjoyable. I reread this and was doubled over laughing at parts. I loved it.

What a fun and hot story!. This was a nice read with a few grammatical errors but nothing distracting. The story was sexy and funny and interesting all the way through. There could be a little more emotional development at the very end but not a terrible ending. Over all it was a great sexy read with lots of hot scenes. Poor girl might need some anger management classes though. Quick read you’ll enjoy.

Two Cabins One Lake. I searched for a “Clean Romance” and was disappointed. The story and writing in general were great, and she and her brothers were a riot! Those three were like a tumble of one-year-old Golden Retriever puppies! Unfortunately, the porn got in the way; it seemed as though the author was just flailing around trying to reach her word count.

Cheesy cute Alaskan romance. Pretty decent book- a little cheesy, but the best ones always are. I enjoyed how the author was descriptive of everything that happened and it painted a good picture in my head of how it would be played out. Great novel.

Disappointed. Book had potential first two chapters then slowly declined after that..... won’t be reading anymore from this author.

Good read. This was an entertaining read. Pretty well written. Could have used a little more fact analysis regarding snipers, their training and the forensics of firearms used in assassination. But overall an entertaining and somewhat humorous book.

Read it, it’s awesome!. Everything about this book is great. The writing makes you feel like you’re in Alaska. The characters are so well flushed out, by the end they feel like your friends. The story line is wonderful. I read this in one day.

Two cabins one lake. Great book, I absolutely loved the humour! The characters were, funny and endearing, adored the inappropriate brothers and the relationship between them and their sister. Can’t wait to read the next instalment in this series.

Sexy and funny. I couldn't put this book down. A feisty, funny and sassy heroine and a sexy domineering but sweet neighbour who gives as good as he gets, pranking each other and falling in love. I laughed out loud so many times and melted when the steamy love making got going. Loved the storytelling between Hely and her brothers. Can't wait for Suzy's turn!

Great Read. 10/10 read. Better than the usual romance formula. Parts were so funny I laughed out loud. Couldn’t put it down.

Stupid. Too boring and repetitive

“Two cabins, one lake” by Shaye Marlow. The feud between Gary (dorky name) and Helly (appropriate nickname) is TOTALLY immature and uproariously funny. I almost peed in my pants! I didn’t think the story could get any more hilarious. But then the brothers were introduced! And that’s not even mentioning the steamy, panty-melting Sex scenes! Phew! I need a cigarette! I have never read this author before, but I am SOOOO IMPRESSED! I haven’t enjoyed a book this much in a long time. Thanks!! Non-stop, pee-in-your-pants laughter!

Awesome Story. Funny, witty, sexy and I was surprised included some action as well. This can turn into a movie. Shaye Marlow your one of my favourite authors this year. Only disappointed the next series is not available in iTunes yet 😞
