Great book. One of the finest books I've read in years!

Rocket boys new favorite book. This started out as a school summer reading project. I picked it because I had seen bits and pieces of the movie, this Book is better than the movie. It is a wonderful memoir full of many emotions. IT IS THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ.

Rocket Boys Soars. From the start, this story captured my attention and I was along for the ride. From the descriptions of Sonny's family, the townspeople, the business of mining and the puzzle of rocket flying...all of it was described in enough detail to keep the pages turning. Every time I had the time, I wanted to return to Rocket Boys and discover how far they'd take their interest in rocket launches. I saw the film a long time ago, but I wanted to jump in and follow the boys, not only when deep into their project, but in their day to day as well. This book's written with plenty of heart and humor. Sonny Hickam is a full-fledged American boy with a dream. In the end, he tackled all that growing up meant, he honored and stayed true to his friends and he made his parents proud. A story about tapping into inner reserves and finishing what you set out to accomplish. Looking forward to others in this series.

My New Favorite. So, I've got to say, anyone who's considering not reading this, please do. It's genre may end with ography but it really can keep your attention the entire way. Thank you Mr. Hickam

Wow . . .. This book is incredible! I chose to read it for a school project, and I was not disappointed! This book is extremely well written, and you will definitely love this true story of determination leading to success.

Words Cannot Describe!. This book is amazing! I saw the movie that I had gotten for Christmas and I realized that there was a book. I spent the money (Some from Christmas) on this book and it was totally worth it! It has inspired me to do exactly what they did in rocketry. And I read this for a Science and Literature book report; perfect for both!
