Beautiful. This is my favorite book. Peril is such a great character and it’s great to see her friendship with turtle and how good she really becomes. Also: I love all the OCs that everyone makes here and the fanfics or stories you write. Your stories are wonderful and so creative

An actual review. I think it’s a great book, though it does seem kind of off topic, but I suppose both 7 and 8 were off topic. Great cover, great story, absolutely terrible cliffhanger (in a good way, of course, but torturous for readers).

Awesome!. This book was the perfect combo of funny, scary, and ‘thrilling’. The part where they thought Glory’s head was cut off made me gasp so loud my mom asked what was wrong. 😂 and the scene with the dragonets made me laugh SO HARD, probably because I have really raucous siblings and they kind of remind me of Cliff. Another great book, Tui! Keep it UP!

Shade watched them leave then she turned away. She flew to the top of the balcony. “Fellow Twilightwings!” She called. “We no longer shall be silent! For we are powerful! Let’s use our power to bring us back to glory!” Her subjects started howling with enthusiasm. “We don’t need weapons. But we have been tampering with another tribe.” All the dragons went silent. She nodded at the guard closest to her. He brought a cage about as large as a four year old dragonet. “There is another tribe that could make the other tribes surrender. But I want your vote on this.” The dragon inside hisses and she could se a claw stick out of the slot on the side. “We let them out. There is no stopping them. Not even us. They can’t hurt us but they can hurt other tribes. They will multiply like rabbits. And all the tribes will FEAR us.” She lifted her chin. “Let these monsters out or-“ she got cut of by a Twilightwing. “Yes! only they will find the secret content that we have yet to find.” Shade smiled. “Alright. I guess you all think the same thing?” They all cheered. “Then it’s settled. Tomorrow we will unleash the Reaperwings onto the continents. K so Peril’s dad has Darkstalkers talisman???. Warning! Major spoiler alert. You should have at least read Book 1 and Book 4 and 5. aNd bAsIcAlLY eVeRy bOoK bEfOrE tHiS. I loved this personally just cuz you know I always wanted to see things from Peril’s perspective, and also it’s so weird how she’s loyal to people who are enemies?? Also I’m glad she left Queen Scarlett. Not good for her mental health. This book have a lot of revelations about Peril and like I think going into this I would’ve loved reading Darkstalker Legends cause I feel like that would’ve helped a lot but I haven’t read it yet so yeah Really liked it. I honestly feel like this is an optional book to read if you want to read the series; it’s a thrilling adventure with Peril, but if you want to sum it up: Queen Scarlet is dead for good. And Queen Ruby is a hologram??? Never actually knew what she was.

WHOA.. Ahhh I LOVED this book! I read it like four years ago lol but I’m rereading the series for the umpteenth time haha I think Peril is really well written and her trauma (?) reflects in an unusual but exciting way (idk how many times I’m gonna have to explain this, I’m an aspiring author. None of my works are published yet lol working on that I’m only in high school) I’d been waiting to see her character narrate for a while, and WOW was that an amazing book. Great job, Tui. Oooooooooooooh yes Repeat 20x. WE LOVE YOU PERIL also OC Chapter 1 Amethyst is the character (a JewelWing) Amethyst stared at the block of wood. It seemed to stare back. She tried to think of an idea for a carving, but her mind was blank. All around her, sunlight glinted off of sparkling scales. The light got in her eyes, momentarily blinding her. She looked around her. Amazonite, a bluish green dragonet who sat on her right, was clumsily carving a dragon. The sunlight shone through her tented wings and threw spots of color on the wooden floor. Amethyst sighed softly and started peeling away wood shavings. Slowly a blobby rose appeared in between her talons. She set it on the desk, and inspected her shiny purple claws. “Five minutes,” the teacher called softly. Next to Amethyst, Jet, a black dragonet with streaks of red on her ears and claws, was glaring at a block of wood, as if willing it to turn into a carving. She looked at Amethyst, who gave her a kind smile. She turned away abruptly, shooting Amethyst a glare. Amethyst felt confused. ‘But I’m being nice!’ She thought. Jet picked her wood up and started to carve it. She carved scales, a head, eyes, a tail... ‘Oh,’ thought Amethyst. ‘It’s a fish! A really good one.’ Most of the fish was still a block when the teacher called time. Jet gasped and quickly yanked shavings off of the block. Amethyst brought her block up to the teacher’s desk. When she returned to her seat, Jet was still there, carving furiously. The teacher started handing out little candies as after-exam treats. Jet was still there. The teacher came to their row and frowned at Jet. ‘Jet, please take your carving to my desk, or I will have to give you an F.’ ‘But I’m almost done-‘ ‘No buts, young lady. Your carving, now.’ Jet growled, ‘Make me.’ She clapped a talon over her mouth. The teacher hissed. ‘An F.’ ‘But, wait, please!’ The teacher only hissed again. Jet slumped at her desk. The bell rang, and the students jumped up and ran out of the door, wings jostling. Jet walked slowly out into the hallway. Two of Amethyst’s classmates bumped Jet as she was going out. ‘Careful, F. Another one and you might collapse from the strain of that big brain of yours!’ Jet hissed at them, baring her teeth, but they only laughed and walked away. The hallways cleared quickly, it being the last class of the day. Amethyst came out of the classroom and saw Jet glaring at the carving. With an angry growl, she flung it against the wall, and it broke in two. Amethyst let out a small gasp. Jet looked up, and wiped her face. She glared at Amethyst. “I saw what they did,” she said. “Are you-“ “No, I’m not okay!” Jet shouted. “ And its all your fault! Hoy. I’m back 😎. I love Peril. She’s one of those characters that can be lovable but maybe sometimes iffy. Like how she’s always wanting to set EvErYtHiNg on FiRe 🔥 🔥 🔥. Overall, I understand that Kestrel would most definitely never agree to even having the thought of mating with a Rainwing, but think about it! She likes his personality, so why not!? Anyways. A real review. This book gets a 5/5 because it by far one of my favorite wolf books! It has a fast paced comedy and action anyone can love. It still, however, has a lot of heart that really brings the book together. Not to mention an amazing cliffhanger! Make sure to read book 9!

My FAVORITE PROBABLY!. I think this book is my favorite, Since Peril is my favorite character, this book is really fun to read when your bored. Thank you Tui T Sutherland!

Fantribe: SunWings Abilities: SunWings get strength and energy from the sun, they can control the temperature of their scales so they can make it as hot as Peril’s scales or just normal scale temperature, they breathe fire, they are immune to fire, lava, and have amazing heat resistance, they also have sharp claws, during the Summer Solstice which happens once every year they get a huge boost in strength and speed making them extra deadly but it is temporary and goes away once the Summer Solstice ends. They have poor night vision. They have the animus gene s but only SunWings in the royal family can be an Animus. Appearance: They can be shades of bright orange, reddish pink, red, and yellow (also gold but thats rare). Their eyes can be any color. SunWings in the royal family have unique patterns on their wings that glow. Naming: They are named after things relating to the sun, heat, and fire. Royalty: Queen Solar and Princess Flare (there are other heirs that are not hatched yet) Continent: Pyronia (land of fire and heat) it is a huge continent and the only tribe that can live there are the SunWings because of their incredible heat resistance if any other tribe were to go to their island their flesh would literally boil and melt off their bones. The continent also is home to many other creatures that have adapted to living in such heat which is how they get food. Also they have water but it is boiling hot but it is just like room temperature water to them. Also the sun never goes down it is always burning bright but all SunWings have an internal clock so they go to sleep at the same time every day.

In front of Sprout was Locusts mother. Let the rage out Sprout, you only met this dragon to have a friend, if you want friends you’re gonna have to stand up for them. He thought as his talons formed a fist “What’s your name?” Sprout asked demandingly. Locusts mother saw where this was going and growled. “Sarracenia” She hissed. “Okay, look ‘Sarracenia’ we’re not playing games, let Locust live and go in nature for once! I’m royalty and i demand it.” He said in a serious tone. He glanced over at Locust and she smiled. “How is that supposed to happen? She is a peasant! She needs to work not go on a quest for some phony nonsense egg that probably does NOT exist.” Sarracenia rolled her eyes and walked out of the room quickly, closed the door and locked it “You aren’t going ANYWHERE. And i don’t care that your ‘royalty’ worm, you’re not going anywhere because no one needs you. And you shouldn’t be friends with a peasant anyways, it’s against the rules, isn’t it?” She hissed and walked away with the key. I remember all of the rules, but not that one. He thought then remembered there is always a rule chart in each room to remind dragons of certain rules. He glanced around the room and found a dusty chart, he then wiped the dust off and it read; Rule 8: ‘Royalty shall not have relationships with non ranks nor non rank friends.’ He let out a small gasp and sat down on the pillow Locust had been sitting on before she stood up. “Why are you friends with me? It was so… random.” Locust said and sat down next to him but on the cold wooden floor. “I used to be Queens servant, which is confirmed royalty once you have a rank, and i recently got demoted. But now that i’m not always following Queen Vlurin everywhere, i can now make friends which i never had in my life.” He explained. “Then why did you make friends with a peasant instead of a royalty dragon?” She pointed out. “Because all the royalties are either rich and don’t care about anyone or they are rude, so why not have a normal friend?” He said and smiled at Locust. “Normal? isn’t that bad to be normal?” “Oh- oh! No! Sorry, that just slipped out! Your exotic…” He said quickly then trailed off. “Pssh! We barely know each other!” She laughed. “Well, perhaps we can get to know each other better once we’re flying to the Hazel Egg” He said and smiled at her smile. “Well what are we waiting for? let’s go!” She said then quickly realized they are still trapped. “Oh… forgot we are trapped, haha…” She said disappointedly. “There is a window right here!- oh wait.. they are wayyyyyyyy too hard to break.” He said sadly. “Im a peasant, remember? and this is a peasant room! We have easy break glass because who cares about putting work into a peasant house?” She said enthusiastically but a little sad on how they don’t have good quality houses. “Oh right!” He looked down and found a rock wedged between the wooden planks. “This should work.” He said and threw the rock into the window. Craaack! “We’re free!” Locust cried in excitement. “What’s going on in there?!” Yelled Sarracenia. “Quick! fly out.” She yelled and spread her wings. They were out! they were free, they can now find the Hazel Egg! They both flew off into the clouds far away from the kingdom as fast as they could, “So… how exactly do we know where we are going?” Locust asked. “My Queen gave me 3 marks on where it could be, our best experts on detectives drew this map. So we should be able to find it, in about… 3 days?” Sprout said and looked beyond the horizon, dreaming of the Hazel Egg. Arrows came shooting through the clouds to where Locust and Sprout were. “WHAT THE HECK!-“ Locust yelled as the world started fading black. Are these Silkwings? Hivewings? Leafwings? no they would never attack m- He thought as the world was getting darker. must.. stay awake… He thought. The world was all black and empty. Next Chapter on Lost Heir :D -ExhraDragonet

Of course Mountain did as she was told to, to help River, who then used the necklace to help heal her mother when she was attacked while she was hunting a hare, ( the other dragon wanted the hare a lot more than she did ) and therefore saving her life. I hope you liked my character dragonet mashup!!!

Escaping peril. This book was great lots of twists and turns great for fantasy loving tweens. This story has good vocabulary, great characters with all different amazing personalities and most of great cliff hanging ending.
