Loved this book!. As someone who struggled with a lot of what she had to go through growing up, this book was great being able to connect those emotions to someone who understands.

Great. This book was amazing! I’m speechless right now. It was like everything that everyone always dreams of not happening to them happened to her! Or all of our dreams came true for her too! She literally went from rags to riches, but she doesn’t let it get to her head, she still helps out tons of people and it’s just amazing! I seriously loved this book and totally recommend it to anyone who just wants to read an amazing book right now

Diane, Guerrera. Diane, you made me cry at 2 am listening to your audiobook. I went all the way to 5 am, I couldn’t stop. I’m an immigrant. I had the privilege to be legal, but never for a second I felt apart of all my dear friends who didn’t have the same luck. I don’t know how and from where you pull so much strength to keep (not going) thriving. This is a must read if want to understand what immigration means for families, how breaking families apart is not the solution. I highly recommend. Diane is a intelligent, brilliant women and the narrative is captivating.
