Fun to read. I too am fascinated with the history of the Salem witch trials and enjoy reading and learning about it. I enjoyed reading this book very much and loved the connection between the actions of those who lived through it hundreds of years ago and the behavior of some who live today. Absolutely breath taking. This amazing book had me hooked from the start! I stayed up one night for 3 hours straight to finish the story. I felt as if i were a part of the girls and the amazing feeling of actually living in modern day Salem, Massachusetts has always been a dream for me. Well this author captured beautifully! The ghost/ witch love story was mysteriously sexy and unique. Never seen that concept before. I love this so much i immediately read the second one and fell in love all over again!

Wow!. I saw the video ad for this book and it was interesting. I bought it on a whim and was enthralled by it. The message it portrays stands up against time. No matter how much time passes people tend to make the same mistakes. Loved this book!

Amazing details. This is such an amazing story filled with such great historical detail that is still relevant in today’s world. I love how this really works at the heart of bullying it’s great for anyone with teens or pre-teens to address that issue but it also goes much deeper and you root for Samantha every step of the way.

Amazing!!!. This book was absolutely amazing. It was intriguing and I will be completely honest with you. I read this book in one day. I could not put it down. Loved it!. I absolutely loved this book! It was so easy to get lost in, and the story so intriguing, I didn’t want to put it down. I needed to know what was going to happen next. Samantha Mather has spent most of her life living in NYC with her father and stepmother, under the impression she’s cursed due to all the terrible things that happen to those around her. When her dad falls ill and slips into a coma, and she and her stepmother have to move to Salem, she thinks maybe things will be different, but what she discovers is the curse she imagined she’s under may not be so imagined after all. With the help of a new friend and a ghost, Sam has to figure out how the curse started and how to break it before it’s too late. How To Hang A Witch straddles a fine line between the parallels of the past and the future, and how history, if left unchecked or challenged, will repeat itself. A lesson Samantha and the other descendants of The Salem Witch Trials learn the hard way through a series of twists, turns, building tension, and one heck of a jaw-dropping moment. This book easily mashed history, fantasy, and magic together that not only made for one heck of a can’t-put-down-until-I-reach-the-end paranormal story, but also simultaneously served as a lesson in bullying and the crowd mentality that goes along with it to either perpetrate or ignore it, and how standing up and saying something can break the cycle.

Amazing. I am one of the pickiest people when it comes to finding something that has to do with the Salem Witch Trials, whether it be a show, movie or book that I actually like. That show on WGN will never make it onto my list but this book, this book is amazing. The way that Adriana Mather weaves modern Salem with the history of the witch trials is perfect. There are some historical differences but they're not enough to discourage me from reading. I NEED this book as a movie. I think that there needs to be a modern day telling of the trials in a movie form. I love love love this book.

i need more!!. i absolutely love this book! i’ve read both of these books three times! i need a third book! not only is it filled with supernatural (my favorite topic) but the HISTORY that is mixed in is so amazing (my other favorite topic). definitely one of my favorite books ❤️
