The Destroyers Omnibus by Holly Hook Book Summary

This Omnibus includes all five books of the Young Adult Destroyers Series: Tempest, Inferno, Outbreak, Frostbite, and Ancient. Included is a table of contents to easily choose which book you'd like to read.

Tempest: Sixteen-year-old Janelle knows something's not right with her father when they move to their new home in Florida. He refuses to evacuate them from the coast when a hurricane bears down on them, despite the fact that all their neighbors have gone. Even worse, it seems like there's something he wants to tell her, something terrifying, but he's not quite opening up.

Then Janelle's life flips upside down when a teenage boy, Gary, materializes out of the storm right in front of her. He bears a strange marking on his arm, a gray spiral that matches the one she was born with. Perhaps her strange birthmark means something after all. But when she points out Gary's mark to her father, he refuses to speak more about it. 

It's up to Janelle to find the truth about the connection she and Gary share. Inferno: Ever since becoming leader of the human hurricanes called Tempests, 16-year-old Janelle is overdue for a vacation. But the trip to Hawaii quickly presents its own problems when she meets Kenna, a local sophomore who makes the volcano start rumbling when she's nearby. So when Kenna gets kidnapped, Janelle has to find her. If she doesn't, Kenna's secret could mean the end of civilization and the death of everyone she loves. 

Outbreak: Paul doesn’t want to kill anyone. All he’s wanted through his teenage years is to have his first Outbreak, where he’ll leave his body to take the form of a tornado. In Mobley, Oklahoma, it’s a normal part of growing up. But just as his wish is granted, he learns that his ability can be used for an evil purpose–and that those in charge are watching him.

Frostbite: Sophia’s teenage years are plagued with another presence that lives inside her–one that freezes everything around her whenever she gets upset or angry. When a terrifying storm goddess arrives in town, it’s determined to get out of Sophia and join her…even it it means Sophia’s destruction and the end of the world.

Ancient: With the insane goddess Andrina on the loose, Janelle and her friends have no choice but to seek out Huracan, the ancient Mayan god of storms, to combat her. But their solution could lead to more problems than they ever anticipated...

Told from the point of view of five different characters, this is the conclusion to the Destroyers Series.
