SO ANXIOUS !!!!. I loved Dirty the first book in this series. I am so excited to read Twist that I can't stand wait any longer. I just hope it's as well written as the first one. I haven't experienced this yet with this author but lately books that continue a series have fell flat/lost the spark that grabbed my attention.

Loved it!. Why haven't I been readying Kylie Scotts books more often! Such a great series so far! Can't wait to keep reading. :)

4.5 Stars!. 4.5 Stars! I really enjoyed this book. It's the first I've read from this author and won't be the last. One of my favorite things I enjoy is humor in my books. While I wouldn't label this a romantic comedy, there was enough humor in it that kept me very entertained. It also had its fair shair of romantic angst and it was a slow burn love that started of in a unique way. What I loved about this, besides the humor, was both main characters. Joe was described as a big, blonde lumberjack with tattoos. He wasn't exactly shy but he wasn't cocky either. He's the big guy that's kinda clueless about his own appeal and was just an all around friendly, loyal and easygoing guy. Alex is your typical pretty but nerdy introvert. Despite her social issues she was a strong woman and brave enough to go out of her comfort zone for the right reasons. The way these two met was funny and cute. Joe's brother had him set up an account for him on a dating website. After the first contact with Alex, Eric flaked out on the website. When Joe went to shut down the account, he saw Alex's email and responded as Eric. He was intrigued by her and thought it harmless to continue emailing her. When Alex got the nerve to fly out to Idaho to meet Eric, she gets a surprise when she finds out he has no clue who she is. The way the author handled the way these two met and kept bringing them together was very well done and I was completely engrossed in this couples fumbling. What I didn't love about the book was the way Joe handled the plot twist towards the end. Without giving it away I'll just say this, I hated how he handled things because he hurt Alex in the process, but I couldn't hate him. He was dealing with a lot and people aren't always the best in sad circumstances. However, I did love how Alex handled herself. She's a better woman than me and she's the reason these two had their HEA. Great book! ARC provided by NetGalley.

I absolutely freaking loved every page!. I voluntarily received a copy of TWIST via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.   This story reminded me so much of my husband and myself that I couldn’t help but fall in love.  Like Joe and Alex we also met online, sans mistaken identity, but yeah, I can relate to Alex on so so many levels.  A story is just so much more when it is one you can slip into the character's skin and relate on so many levels, emotionally, physically, mentally, everything. TWIST, ran the gambit of emotions for me, from anger and frustration to happiness and tears.  Tears of sadness and tears of joy, when a book can move me to tears it is truly a book of note.  I loved the journey of courage and rediscovery that Alex went through in following the possibilities for something more.  It was messy and heartbreaking at times, yet so full of heart and vulnerability.   I absolutely freaking loved every page!  I am giving Twist 5 HUGE Boundless Stars!

Every word held my attention, and the romance between Alex and Joe was a delightfully slow build that snuck up on me, and had me falling right along with them. The tale Ms. Scott has woven is an effortless blend of humor, verity, friendship, forgiveness, sex, passion, pain, and love. I immediately felt a kinship with Alex, and related to her in so many ways. The way she guards her heart with the ferocity of a lioness, her fears and anxieties, her quirky sense of style, and her fun, unconventional sense of humor…she was awesome. Joe was perfectly flawed…perfectly imperfect, and I loved him so much for it! Yeah, he was ripped…but he was soft too. Oblivious to his own appeal, he was humble in his beauty, both inside and out. If his gorgeous self wasn’t enough, the man has the heart and soul of an angel. His soft heart, and the love he holds for his family and friends is breathtaking. *Sigh* He’s amazing… I loved this book from the totally hot cover (that man is seriously gorgeous), to the hook in the blurb. The storyline was fun, real, hot, heartbreaking, and sexy all in one. Well thought out, and executed with skill and finesse, I absolutely adored it. The character development was most excellent, and the writing was amazing. Ms. Scott is an incredibly talented author that has earned herself a new forever fan! I’ve found my tall drink of water with a Twist…now I just need my Chaser… Kristie K

So good. Funny, touching, well written.. I absolutely love Kylie Scott's sense of humor. I always smile and lol when I read her books. This one is no different. Well written. No typo or grammar flubs. Great characters and setting. The humor offsets the real problems these characters experience. It's a great blend of sweet and IDK?....real life? Cameo by Mal from Stage Dive series. Always funny. Highly recommend all this author writes.

Excellent. This one started slow for me and I almost gave up on it. Man am I glad I stuck with it! The core of the story is online dating and the little lies that are weaved into conversations on those sites. What happens when you come face to face with the person on the other end and they realize you aren't exactly what you said you were. That's how Joe and Alex's story begins and it just gets better! The writing style of this author is great and her characters are very well developed. If you find it slow starting, just give it time. The story is well worth the wait. This is one I highly recommend.

Recommended. I really enjoyed Joe and Alex’s story. They met on an online dating site and emailed for months but there were some things Joe didn’t disclose. When they finally meet in person it was a shock for Alex to say the least. Joe is a carpenter/bartender who lives in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Alex is a graphic designer who lives in Seattle, Washingon. Will they be able to overcome deception and distance to make it to their HEA? There is a lot going on at the Dive Bar, drama aplenty throughout the story.

Meh. Seriously I wish this author would give more detail by providing the male POV ... this book was like a Luke warm romance that had to be finished ... it just didn't feel right and most of the relationships feel unfinished... the female characters also have bad opinions of themselves and with no male pov it makes it hard to not see the female in a negative light... joe was irritating at the end and Alex sort of let him get away with it after starting out strong she turned sappy at the end ... will I read the next story? It's a toss up but most likely to get even a teeny glimpse of stage dive I'd probably read it ... sigh not the best but oh well not everything is perfect I suppose ..

Super witty, super fun. Another great book by Jay. All are so original and the characters are so fun. For being a hermit, Alex is extremely witty and I like that she stands up for herself. Joe is just that good guy you really root for. Read it in 2 nights. Didn't want to put it down.

Did not disappoint!. I was generously given an ARC for a honest review. I've been waiting for this book forever. It definitely starts off with a bang.....involving online dating, mistaken/deceptive identify with a slightly agrophobic heroine and a people pleasing gentleman bartender/carpenter. It catches the reader right away and it was a while before I stopped reading so that I could actually get work done! I loved Joe....he was such a gentleman and an all around nice guy....but he did have an edge in the bedroom. He just needed someone who was in his corner just for him. He was always looking out for everyone else, he forgot himself. That's where Alex comes in. After she gets over her anger regarding the online thing, she realizes what a good guy he is and decides to look out just for him. She has her own issues too but mostly comes across as strong. Their bedroom scenes are definitely hot! And the story arc between Nell, Eric and Patrick get resolved to a point. I really want to read about Eric next! Overall a really good follow up in the Dive series!

Loved. Wow! I loved how sweet the Hero in this story was, he could still have his bad boy moments but he was sweet and giving and made me swoon! The heroine was also pretty amazing! She was stubborn and could come off as not nice but she was loyal to the bone and made everything better. Loved how other questions from the first book were answered as well. Great series!
