Love this story - Great book 2!. This is book 2 of the 3 book story. And there is a major cliffy at the end! Fair warning! This was a great continuation of Mel's story. Mel and Noah fall deeper and deeper in love with each other. Mel also develops a deep friendship with Sawyer even though Sawyer feels more than friendship for Mel. This part of the story is setting us up for the tremendous ending that I know is coming. The story is well written and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The cliffhanger ending is one that really broke me and I don't know how I will wait until June to find out what happens! Well written and I'm in love with the characters. This band is so much more than a band, they are a family. Great read!

Wow! What a story!. I fell in love with the first book - Side A. But this book pulled me in even more. I fell in love with the whole BAD family and the members' families. There was so much resolution and love and happiness in this book. Amelia, Noah, Sawyer, Belle, Darren, Eli, Rory, Veronica... But OMG, that ending...I was just in tears! You have to read this series! D Kelly is amazingly talented! I just can't wait to read "EP".

I WAS NOT READY FOR THIS!. I WAS NOT READY FOR THIS! We pick up right after the major life-threatening drama between Noah, Amelia, and Noah’s ex with the outcome we all expected. After recovering, the band picks up right back where they left off with the tour, with an added bonus from Belle, and it seems that things are going well for the group. Noah and Amelia seem to continue to grow closer and he really helps her overcome things she has struggled with regarding her past. On the other side, Amelia has continued to be secure in her decision to be with Noah, although the feelings are still lingering about Sawyer. Regardless, the couple decides to take it to the next level and I feel that there’s some major character growth for Amelia to decide to go through with it all. Throwing in some more surprises, it seems like Amelia and Noah are getting their happy ever after, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING will prepare you for the cliffhanger we get here! While the first book definitely sucked me into this series, this book really solidified my newfound love for this author and appreciation for her writing. I am so eager to find out all the answers to present Amelia and her writing! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

An Amazing Emotional Roller Coaster. Hang on to your hats ladies and gents! This is one emotional ride! Just an Illusion - The B Side is the second book in the Illusion trilogy, so please keep this in mind when you sit down to devour this book! You should definitely read Just An Illusion - Side A first (because it's awesome!) and because The B Side picks up where Side A left off. This book is heavy on the feels and at times you will be riding the highs, but oh, there are some truly heavy lows too. Prepare yourself for the swoons (#TeamWeston for the win!), steam (still fanning myself here), and some heartache too (Noooooooooo!). I really loved the mix of playfulness and lighthearted banter (LOVE the Weston and BAD family) and the angst and mystery. There are some truly epic surprises in this one too! Forgive my vague wording/review, but trust me when I say that you want to experience these moments from D. Kelly on your own. I could not put this book down and finished it in one sitting (Yes, adulting was ignored and children *may* have eaten cereal for dinner, but they understood that this book could not be ignored! Hahahahaha!) The B Side was a slower burn for me, really fleshing out the characters and what drives/motivates them. You get to know all the characters better and get to meet some sweet new additions as well. The wait until June for the final book feels torturous and bittersweet, but I know it will be worth it! *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*

The second book in the Just An Illusion series starts where Side A finishes and continues a beautiful, heartbreaking, joyful tale of a rock band on their farewell tour. Each character has so much depth and it's hard not to fall in love with them all, as Mel takes us on the journey through her eyes. A child of Rock legends herself, she's lived the good, bad and ugly that comes with life on the road before. This time Mel wants to enjoy the ride and take BAD's fans along with them but as tragedy strikes, it may turn into a goodbye tour instead. Don't pick up this book unless you've got time on your hands, because it's addictive and you won't want to put it down. Make sure you read Side A first or you can't become as invested in BAD and their whole family. The final book comes out in June and it can't come soon enough for me!

Wow I loved this book. Book 2 in the Illusion Trilogy and you do need to read book one as this book starts right where that one finished and once again this author gives us a emotional roller coaster that you will find hard to put down. The boys from Bad are back and are still as hot as ever and once again we get inside their heads, follow their life on the road, feel their happiness and feel their pain and that's all I'm going to say about this story because I don't want to give too much away. What I will say is this book left me with my heart in my mouth and I really hope book three is not far away. The boys from Bad are loveable sexy characters but D. Kelly goes deeper than just a book about a hot band she takes you into their life's and by the end of the book you feel like the boys, their partners and their family are your friends. Brilliant book that left me wanting more .....
