Reed is trying to catch Ryker!. Reed is the tenth book in the Cold Fury Hockey series by the amazing Sawyer Bennett. As always the writing is fantastic, the story intriguing, the characters sexy and fun. Honestly, I didn't see Reed coming! He was surprisingly wonderful! And he's right up there with Ryker! Van just went down to number three. Sorry. Not Sorry. Reed is a carefree ladies man who loves his Barbie's. Tall, blonde, big boobs and no brains. When he interrupts his neighbor with his extra-curricular activities, she doesn't hesitate to give him a piece of her mind. She's petite, brunette and pretty. Not his usual type, but he still finds himself attracted to her. After a few more chance meetings, Reed wants to be friends with his feisty neighbor. He likes her. She's funny and she's smart and she's a doctor. They find they have a lot in common and they easily fall into a routine of seeing each more often. Dinner, beer and tv. It's the perfect casual friendship. Until Reed decides he wants more. Yes, he wants time with her in his bed, but he also wants more conversation, more fun and just more. He's never been friends with a woman before and he loves it. Josie is just the prefect woman. She doesn't mind just hanging out. She doesn't take forever getting ready and she's not a Barbie. Reed ups the romance and is going to convince Josie to become more than friends. Josie is totally on board with this. I mean, this is Reed. He's tall, sexy, handsome and did I say sexy? Friends to lovers seems to happen seamlessly until Josie's past comes back and shakes Reed's confidence. Can Reed get past his issues and see that Josie is everything he's always wanted? Will Josie fight for Reed and what she wants? I can't even with this book. Reed was just perfection. His sexiness, fun loving attitude and his giant heart. Josie is smart, funny and easy going. They seem to be an unlikely pair, but they fit together perfectly. And they prove that friends to lovers makes it all so much better. I'm not ready to say goodbye to Reed and Josie yet!

Heart-warming read!. Gosh, what a great read...probably my favorite of the series. Reed and Josie provide the reader with a delightful tender love story. The story is set out of the normal hockey season which was a change for the series. Quick wonderful read.

Cold Fury Series. By far one of the best series i’ve read in a long time. Read Reed first then realized there were more! So many emotions in one book. I would highly recommend these books to anyone who needs love, laughter and a sense of extended family!!!

Sweet and Fun!. I’m sure I say this after reading every Coldy Fury Hockey story, but I think this one is my new fave! Reed and the Cold Fury hockey team are in their off season. Reed is suddenly getting tired of all his “Barbies” and when his new neighbor comes by she definitely catches his attention. She’s not his usual type, but she’s beautiful just the same. Josie is Reeds new neighbor and an ER doctor. She’s hesitant to jump into Reeds bed because she’s not his usual, one night stand kind of girl. Reed pushes a friendship on Josie and they get along perfectly. Reed was a pretty fun story to read. Nothing too angsty or dramatic, but plenty of sexiness. Although Reed was a lot different from the previous books I thoroughly enjoyed reading his story. Towards the end we got a glimpse of what is in the future with Merek’s story. Ms. Bennett definitely grabbed my attention and I’m anxiously awaiting for the release of Merek.

Loved!. This was such a sweet story. I love Reed, he is everything you'd want! Josie's nickname for his hookups prior to her are hilarious! I loved their story!!

A Fun Read But.... This was a fun and easy read, but I think it lacked a lot of the nuances that the previous books had. Everything just seemed a little too simple: the believed antagonist really isn’t one, we don’t hear about any of the internal struggles Josie experiences about her parents/sister, not do we see how these two people end up balancing work and love - Reed is on summer vacay the whole time. I was much more invested in Marek’s story, to the point where it seemed like Reed’s was just setting his up. Again, nice easy read, I just expected a little more.

Reed and Josie!. I was looking for something to help me escape and feel good, and this book hit the nail on the head. I loved Josie and how secure she was in who she was. The two of them were just amazing, and I can’t wait for Marek!

Hot Fun!. Loved this story and I wish I could give this more than five stars. I was totally captivated by this fantastic fun story and was unable to put this story down and finished it in one sitting. All of their happy, fun and romantic gestures melted my heart. #SWOON. #REED OLSON Sexy-Spontaneous-Secure-Hottie-❤️ Dr. Josie Ives has had her heart broken and has sworn off men, but Reed is taken with his sexy neighbor at first sight. As they become friends, emotions and feelings soon change to a sexual nature. Full of spontaneous, happy, fun and romantic gestures these two seem to be made for one another. But when her previous boyfriend returns will Josie take Aiden her ex who broke her heart back? Or has Reed captured her heart and her love. Readers who love Sawyer Bennett, love romance, enjoy a fun read with melt your heart, sexy men, should pick up this book. I am a forever Sawyer Bennett fan and look forward to reading whatever she has in store for us next. #Cant get enough! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. I’m in love with Reed. His character is great. Love how Author showed the characters. The barbies angle was hysterical. Only things wished was different was ending. Felt like it was abruptly ended.

Sweet & Steamy. Wow! Just amazing! I think I say this after every Cold Fury book and I hope I get to say it for many more to come! I mean, players retire and new players are drafted on to a team so this should be a never ending series, right? How can all of these men be so lovable and incredible? Because Sawyer likes to make us swoon and smile with her well written, sexy stories. Book 10 is about the sexy Reed Olson. It is the off-season but Reed plays just as hard with his endless stream of “Barbies” in his bed as he does with his team on the ice. He lives in a town home so his bedroom actually abuts his neighbor’s bedroom. Josie Ives is Reed’s neighbor and she is so tired of the headboard banging and screaming next door especially when she gets off her ER shift and desperately needs sleep. After confronting Reed one day, they end up developing a nice friendship and start spending a lot of time together. I am a huge fan of friends to lovers especially when it is on a slow burn. Watching these two people realize that what they have is so much more than friendship is wonderful. This is a sweet, funny, sexy and steamy story that will leave you smiling right down to the last page.

Friends to Lovers. Working long shifts as an ER doctor, doesn't leave much time for dating or socializing. Upon returning home from a long shift, Josie is rudely awakened by screaming and a headboard banging against the wall. So Josie storms over to her neighbor's where she meets Reed and one of his many "Barbies". Reed, a player for Cold Fury, has just come off a winning season--nabbing the Stanley Cup. So Reed plans to use the off-season having as much fun as possible. Although Josie isn't really his "type", he finds her intriguing. Reed finds ways to insert himself into Josie's life, while encouraging her to be spontaneous. No more puzzles every night! Quirky, adorable, funny, endearing...all words to describe Sawyer Bennett's latest Cold Fury novel. The Barbie nicknames were incredibly innovative and hilarious. Reed, so far, is my favorite Cold Fury player! Even though he was portrayed as a player, he had a kind heart. Josie was sassy, intelligent, sarcastic, caring, but also broken. Reed was able to slowly break down those walls to earn her loyalty and trust. I absolutely loved date night under the stars! Josie and Reed had so many layers to delve into, but it was so worth the time. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Great read. This is a good neighbors to lovers read. Josie is an intelligent and sassy heroine, that keeps the sexy arrogant Hero Reed on his toes.

Reed. I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t put it down until I finished. I laughed at how Josie meets Reed. He’s definitely such a playboy, and has a revolving amount of “ Barbie” type hookups. I loved how close they become and the story gets HOT as they become friends with benefits. I stayed on edge, is her ex trying to get back together with her? I ached as Reed messes up. Is he the “ one” for her? I highly recommend this book.

Sexy, funny, Sweet. Reed is the tenth book in the Cold Fury Hockey Series. Like the others it is a standalone and can be read separately or out of order. I’ve been reading these stories in no particular order and don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. Cold Fury hockey player Reed Olson enjoys his off season with a revolving door of summer fling Barbies until his sexy and smart neighbor Josie Ives comes knocking at the door. They start up a great friendship that begins to feel like more. “A sudden wave of jubilation—a lightness of heart—sweeps through me. She’s so right. What could possibly be wrong about starting out as friends and going to lovers?” I absolutely adored Reed! He was a thoughtful and caring hero to swoon over! This is a fun and flirty friends to lovers story but so much more. Lots of heat and emotion. 4.5 Stars!!

Love With The Girl Next Door. So happy to see the Carolina Cold Fury series by Sawyer Bennett will continue for the foreseeable future with the latest player, in every way, Reed. In the beginning Reed, who is a very sweet guy, has a definite type. . . blonde, tall, buxom. You know like barbies. Then he meets his next door neighbor, Josie, who is petite, has dark hair and is an ER doc. As they spend more and more time together, he finds he can’t think of anyone else. Surprisingly Reed finds himself wanting more with her. The question becomes can he overcome his inexperience with relationships, and can Josie overcome her fear of relationships. Especially when her old flame comes back in the picture. This story is very funny, satisfying and emotional. I think you’re going to love Reed and Josie.

Cold Fury never disappoints!. What can I say about a hot hockey player and ER Doc finding love in this friends to lovers’ sports romance? I will tell you that it is a mighty fine read! There isn’t any hockey in this book as Reed is in the off season celebrating the Cold Fury’s Stanley Cup win and it didn’t bother me that it was the off season! The characters are terrific! I absolutely loved Josie! She is a terrific heroine that challenged Reed. He needed it as he was stuck in a rut dating only the same type of women. Josie witnessed his string of “Barbies” come and go from his townhouse. How they met was an absolute riot. Reed was having very noisy sexy times with his flavor of the day and their activities were so noisy that they kept Josie awake. Working long hours in the ER, Josie needs her rest. She marches over to Reed’s door and to give him a piece of her mind. Thus, the interest in Josie begins for Reed, this spunky little brunette. As their paths cross, he finds he is intrigued with her. He thought she was brilliant, witty and a lot of fun to be around. It had nothing to do with her petite curvy body. Nope. He was usually into tall, stacked blondes. Not short, curvy brunettes. My, my how things change. I loved the journey of their romance. The easiness of how they fell into friendship. Of course, there was that underlying electrical current. Once they made the turn into a relationship the sparks flew. Reed was a good balance for Josie. He was the spontaneous, fun guy that Josie needed. He brought excitement to her life. He was so sweet, he even bought a puzzle to put together at his house because Josie liked to do puzzles to help her unwind after work. I was so worried when Aiden came back and wanted to win Josie back. I was white knuckling my iPad there for a while. Even though this is the tenth book in this series, I was captivated by this sweet and sexy story and once I started, I couldn’t put it down. The Cold Fury series never disappoints me, and it never gets old. I love each and everyone of these guys and the terrific women that are their perfect fit. I can’t wait for more Cold Fury!

I love Reed and Josie!!. 4.5☆ I loved Reed, both the book and the guy. Him and Josie are so adorable together. I love their relationship, especially how they meet and get to know each other. Reed is really sweet with Josie and he brings out the spontaneous side to her. Josie is a very smart, hardworking, and compassionate person. I like how simple she is and how she doesn't need much to make her happy. I would have liked to know a little bit more about their pasts, but I still felt like I knew their present selves pretty well. I enjoyed the storyline even though there really wasn't any hockey in it. We still had some updates from the other players, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was a really good book that made me smile and laugh.
