Send Down the Rain. I love all of Charles Martin’s books, but I think this is my favorite. I love the theme of sacrificing that is throughout the book, and I love the fact that it’s main character is a veteran who finally gets what he deserves!

Send Down the Rain. Very good book, hated for it to end!! I smiled, laughed & cried throughout this book. Myself coming to age in the early 60’s I understand so much of this in true life. If I could’ve given more then 5 stars I would’ve!!!!

Lifetime TV. If you like Lifetime TV, you can get through this book. If you enjoy real literature, skip it. Way too sappy and contrived.

SEND DIWN THE RAIN. A master at storytelling, this will not disappoint readers. Who does not have secrets, with time in the Vietnam war, he also has many scars, and loosing the woman he loved. Staying in a lone cabin, while his brother is a senator, and is known. Seeing the explosion, reuniting with a woman and lost dreams, will the secret destroy that too. A powerful story of an inner strength to continue on, when one has secrets, and has lost so much It will be an emotional read for readers and be glad they read, again one of his books. Given ARC copy by Fiction Guild- Thomas Nelson for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Send Down the Rain by Charles Martin. Another great book by a master storyteller! His books never disappoint me. Each one has its own story and keeps me guessing what surprises are in store. I can hardly wait to read another one!

Very good story. Good story of a mans love, for his family, his country, his friends, and for people who need loving. Very enjoyable read. Will definitely read more by Charles Martin.

Good clean writing. Read most of his books. Some better than others. This author proves that you can write a good book without foul language and sexual content. Being a Christian I will not read anything with those. One thing keep coming to my mind when I was reading this book “Forrest Gump”. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome book. As I have come to expect, Charles Martin never lets you down with a new book. And as I have come to expect, the story, the characters and the vivid descriptions quickly capture my imagination and focus as he weaves a beautiful story of love and hurt and redemption. I always feel as though I know his characters personally, crying and rejoicing with them at each turn of events. Wonderful book.
