Just brilliant. A warm, funny and thought provoking read
Crazy characters coping with real life issues.. Caring for a parent with Alzheimer’s is one of the main story lines, but the book is not depressing, though it doesn’t hide the problems. The characters in the Comfort Food Cafe all come with a back story, but are coping and enjoying life. Willow and her mum have been background characters in previous books and this is their story.
The Comfort Food Cafe series. Thank you so much Debbie for these beautifully written books. I feel like the characters are all old friends and although I get so excited when the next one comes out but then also get worried that it might be the last in the series.
