BEST BOOK EVER. This is definitely one of my favorite books! It is so captivating, and the twists!! I could never have guessed what was coming. I will definitely be recommending this to everyone that I know!!

GREAT. Amazing. Twist around every corner. Couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for more. Loved it.

I’m confused. It was a good book but by the end I had no idea what actually happened and not in a good way. I brought it up in a book group and everyone else who read it said the same thing.

Oh my, YES. Good read! I’m still thinking about it, trying to wrap my head around it. Sometimes I lie, too, but this ain’t one of those times.

Sometimes I Lie. Best read this year, so far. A dark tale of some messed up families, told largely from a perspective of a woman in a coma. There are unexpected twists and the story that unfolds ... remember the first time you read Gone Girl and thinking it was unusual? I had a similar experience reading this, knowing I hadn’t read anything like it before and I would be reading it again. I’m not even certain I find any of the characters likable, but I really like the way this tale spins. I’ll tell you what I told my reading friends: This is the next book you should read.

Amazing. This books gives me sooo much feelings!! The suspense is EVERYTHING

Good. Good book, confusing plot at times. I did not like the way it ended.

Enjoyable. I really enjoyed this book. As a psychological thriller I think it did it’s job. It keeps you guessing but hit you with a twist you’d didn’t expect.

Alice Feeney Adds Humor to Her Mystery. “Sometimes I Lie” is sharp, complex, suspenseful and funny. Did you get that last part? Funny! How often do we get humor as sharp as a knife sinking into a belly laugh in our mysteries? We get everything we want in Alice’s latest book (exceptin’ Alice). Don’t pass this one up if you’re headed to the beach and you’re sure you can spend a little time with a book. I’m a fan, now. I’m going to look for whatever else she wrote. Promise. You’ll like it, even if it does make you scratch your head a few times.

Keeps you reading until the end. A page turner. The book bounces between present, the time leading up to the main character’s coma, & childhood. So good! I couldn’t stop reading - lots of unexpected twists & turns. Right up until the end!

Sometimes I lie. Well written. I love “ first books” when they are critically acclaimed. Usually turns out to be great. This is one of them!

not what you think. this was a good book. enjoyed it from beginning to end but it definitely kept surprising me as i kept reading. ending with have you shook

She lies. I loved this book. I was fortunate to get an ARC. I couldn’t put it down. What happened to her? Why would her husband do that to her? So many questions. It keeps you guessing until the end.

Hard to be happy for terrible people. In the end, spoiler, the ‘winner’ has murdered people, stolen children and ruined others lives. Hard to feel good or very satisfied with that.

It was good!. I really enjoyed this book! Loved the twists--especially the one at the very end! I went in expecting more and while I didn't get that, I still think the plot was fresh and crazy original. Will definitely try another book by this author!

Never again. This was truly a good book for awhile. I will never waste another weekend with one of her books again.

Twists and more twists. Such a fun read. A unique premise with twists and turns aplenty. Suspenseful, surprising, and satisfying.
