Sergio. I do not know how to rate this book. My heart was torn into pieces. I was hoping Sergio was still alive but I was shocked when I saw the last page that says THE END! I cried! That was heartbreaking! I don’t know if I can get over this story. Just sad! I don’t think I can read the rest of the brothers’ stories. Sorry! This just made me truly heart broken.

Sergio. 5.0 out of 5 starsAbsolutely Brilliant ByDonna Lon April 23, 2018 Format: Kindle Edition What a great premise for a story.I am a huge fan of this author,her books are innovative, creative and never fail to touch my soul.I was especially excited to read Sergio's story in all its brutality.The story will tear you apart with every emotion possible, and then some Natalie Gregorian has a habit of being in the wrong place at the wrong time,not once but twice.She witnessed violence at its worst,was it karma that both times involved Sergio Beneditti.Sergio was heir apparent and future leader of Beneditti family.The burden of his family weighed heavily on his shoulders,he is the first born son of a mafia family.He is feared, ruthless with the blood of many on his hands.Natalie's life changed from the moment she witnessed Sergio at work in an abandoned warehouse.Sergio is drawn to Natalie and just can't keep away from her.He is like a ghost,shadowing her every move,protecting her from his many enemies.Sergio integrates himself in her life and she leaves him breathless,will she be tainted by his family.Its too late for Natalie to walk away,even after a disastrous visit with his family.She burns for his touch, which is not always gentle or sweet.His knowledge of his world, with all its human depravity,gave Sergio the edge to stay one step ahead of his enemies and keep Natalie safe.He was a man without a conscience or remorse when it came to carrying out his duty,can Natalie accept the world he lives in.The story portrays a dark,brutal, violent,dangerous existence were life is disposable.Overall,this book was a solid read with great character development.It plays on your mind while delving into the psychology of Sergio and Natalie's journey, which is what makes it a great read.

5 (but SHOULD be a HUNDRED) Stars. 5 (but SHOULD be a HUNDRED!!!) Stars Oh Sergio, my heart is broken and I have to say I KNEW what would happen and yet, it STILL very nearly KILLED me!!! To say that I loved this book would be an understatement...it is not your typical romance. It CAN'T be but OMGAWD, the INTENSE, RAW, HEART-SHATTERING emotions!!! The TWISTED, EFFED-UP, yet somehow INTRIGUING storyline had me speeding toward the end of a book that left me in a daze, left me in awe, left me with a gaping whole where my heart USED to be!!! I have to say that THIS book is Natasha Knight's BEST, to date! It evokes sooooooo many emotions and is one of my TOP reads of 2018, so far! I CANNOT recommend this one highly enough....but, fair warning, you WILL UGLY cry!!! But it's soooooo worth the journey! Trust that Natasha will bring you through this haunting, intense and UNFORGETTABLE not-quite-a-love story!

Sergio. I don't think I have ever cried so much in one book. This book did that I feel for Nat. Sergio was a roller coaster, it hit you in the feels. Over all is was an amazing read.

Do not miss! A must read!. Sergio Benedetti is the firstborn son of a mafia king. He is the favourite and destined to rule. He is cold, cruel and unfeeling. He is also unforgiving, manipulative, powerful and damn sexy. Natalie was in the wrong place at the wrong time twice in her life and in both instances, it led her to Sergio. This time, Sergio will not let her go. FOREVER. NO MATTER WHAT. I needed to exhale a huge breath before writing this review. I think I was holding my breath anticipating something that was not going to happen. That couldn’t happen because the story had to be told this way. I’m shook. I also have a love/hate relationship with this book. I LOVE IT! It was beautifully written and perfectly paced. It is intriguing, captivating and emotional. It is brilliant. A one of a kind read. I HATE IT! (not really). It is gut wrenching and hard. It is bittersweet and I’m an emotional mess. I listened to Sergio’s song, Darlin’ by Houndmouth, before I read this book and it set a mood. An overcast, a shadow, an omen. Almost like devastation was near. The synopsis of this book had me all kinds of excited to read it. Natasha’s foreword was gripping, almost a warning. For what, I did not know but I had a feeling this would be a dark read unlike any other. I felt anxious and ready for anything. I was wrong. After the prologue, I was completely invested. This book had me feeling dread, anticipation, excitement, love and so many other things. I knew this book was leading me somewhere. As it did, the tension and anticipation I felt kept mounting. As for the conclusion, I was left speechless and confounded and emotionally wrung out. Although the story has ended, I know this story and its characters will linger. This is a TRUE book hangover. It’s not pretty but it is a real and honest portrayal. I can’t forget to thank Natasha Knight for breaking my heart so beautifully. It will never be the same. This is not a traditional romance. It does not pretend to be. This is also NOT a story that you want told. This is a story that MUST be told. This book is for those of you that know love is not easy. That you must take care and savor every moment. To those who know if they’re lucky, they will meet and fall in love with that special one. That special one who will be THEIRS, FOREVER, NO MATTER WHAT. I received this exquisite book as an ARC. All thoughts, feelings and opinions are my own.

What a fantastic read. 5 wonderful stars Hero is Sergio Heroine is Natalie. This story tore at your heat from the first page. I know it’s suppose to be a dark story that darkness surrounded Sergio but I didn’t find it dark. Sergio is the oldest son of a mafia boss and he knew his place in the family. There were certain parts of Sergio that showed he had a heart and a lighter side. How you ask? How he was with Natalie from the first. Sergio just knew what his father expected from him. And Sergio couldn’t show any weakness . Sergio also knew that his third brother was way to nasty and dark Natalie was saved from an nasty act when she was young in a corner store . Natalie didn’t expect to see Sergio again. Six years later fate threw them together again . Both Natalie and Sergio had a connection that nobody understood The last part of the book broke my heart . I had tears in my eyes. Wish it ended a different way but I And you will understand why
