Good start of a new series.. Another emotional read by KL Donn. Two people who has been through so much. I was heartbroken for both of them. But both are strong and they where perfect for each other. Love how patience Ryder was with Codie. He sure won my heart. Love the brotherhood and how they support each other. Can’t wait to read more of the men in this series.

Oh my heartbreaking and amazing!. Okay wow! This book definitely brings a lot of emotional responses. The very first chapter kicked me in the gut and it went on from there. KL Donn’s stories are always amazing but the depth of this story and the characters are mind blowing. I cried, I worried, and I jumped with the leading lady and I empathized with the struggles of both Ryder and Codie. As a woman, this story just ripped my heart out and as a parent, it made me crazy, frustrated, and angry. The problems and things that have happened to these two incredible characters will make an ordinary life seem so easy. I loved this story and I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Emotional. WOWOWOW…what an emotional, all of the feels, bawl your eyes out, romance. If you can get thru this book without crying and your emotions swamping you then we read different books. This one will chew you up, spit you out and then rebuild you with love. Ryder and Codie are 2 broken people who fit perfectly❤️❤️❤️. Loved it!!!

Heartbreakingly Beautiful. Oh Wow!!This book took me through so many emotions. KL really put her all into this one. Codie oh Codie, this woman has so much strength to grow through what she went through and come out wanting to better herself and take her life back, and with the help of Ryder she takes a step forward everyday. But, when tragedy strikes again, Codie takes her new found strength and love and leaps over her fears to be their for her man. Oh and Ryder, what a MAN, one that sees beyond the quirkiness that others just sees as weird or troubled, he sees the woman who is fighting for something, fighting to overcome something huge. And he gives her his strength and his protection to let her grow. I Love these two and I’m sure the other’s that are to come. Thank you KL for this story and your words, I know so much of you went into this one and i’m honored to have gotten to read it.

Tac. All I can say is I wasn’t ready for this book. Usually reading is an escape for me and I don’t want triggers or too much emotion when that’s not the mood I’m in. It took me a couple of days to prepare myself because once I starting reading it, get your tissues ready cause I know I wasn’t ready. After reading this beautifully told story I wish I started sooner because it has blown my mind. Codie and Ryder the demons they have both had to endure is devastating and you can’t help but feel for them. When they come together it’s healing and makes you root for them. This story was original and told so wonderfully that it leaves you enchanted and wanting more, I know I do and you will to after reading it!!!!

Missing In Action. Both characters have suffered traumatic events. Everyone deals with trauma differently, there is no right or wrong way. Heart wrenching storyline that draws you in along with the characters themselves. Ryder and Codie were so well written and had me feeling so many emotions.

Shook me to my core. I knew going in that this book was going to be different but I didn’t know that I’d actually read something that would shake my world and turn my emotions on their head. Codie and Ryder’s story in my opinion is some of the best work Krystal has even put pen to paper. I am so incredibly honored that she was strong enough to share this story with us. I loved this book from start to finish and I cried real tears from start to finish. This is the type of story that you read and remember for a lifetime.

Worth the wait. I have waited for this book since Hayes opens the door at the end of her Hogan’s series book. This did not disappoint at all. I cried during the prologue. I was glued to this book to see how Codie would find some light through all the darkness. Same with Ryder too. His issues are heavy also. They were meant for each other. I wish I could give this book 17 stars.
