Lies. Never leave a review, but this story totally deserves one. Absolutely loved this book! Sure a little far fetched, but well done! You made me believe for a couple of hours, well written, flowed from one point to another perfectly. The characters were all in gauging and funny. I’m with others who’ve written reviews, I hope you continue with this as a series, and check in on Betty, Thom, and Hebert on occasion. I do recommend this book, great read, by a fantastic author!

Loved Betty and Thom. 4.5 stars for - Lies - by Kylie Scott. This is a complete standalone with so much potential for more and if I’m being totally honest I am not above begging Kylie to keep writing about the other/supporting characters in this book. I rarely have the time or inclination to read a book from cover to cover in one day but that is exactly what happened with this story and I was captivated from the first few chapters all the way through to the end and wanted more long after the final words were read. I can’t recommend this story highly enough - do yourself a favor a pick up Lies as soon as you can! Betty has decided her fiancé is not the man for her but while she is packing up her car to leave her plans literally blow up in her face. Betty is thrown head first into a world she never knew existed and quite frankly would rather not be a part of but the man she thought was boring and safe turns out to be keeping quite a few secrets. Getting kidnapped was not part of her plan and she can't seem to wrap her head around all that she's learned but she and Thom need to figure things out sooner rather than later if they're going to make it out alive.

Couldn’t put it down. I hope we get to visit Betty and Thom in the future. I love how the story flowed nothing was stagnant. The plot twist did surprise me which was very pleasing. Kylie, is becoming my favorite author to read!

Action Packed!. Kylie has done it again and wrote another spectacular book! I wasn’t sure what I was expecting when I started, but I was pleasantly surprised! Grabbed me from the first page and kept me until the last page. This book is very action packed! I don’t think there was a page that didn’t have something going on. Betty leaves Thom. Betty disappears. Thom finds Betty. Thom is not who she thought he was. You’re intrigued now, I bet? Lies was awesome and you definitely need to pick this one up!

Fantastic!! A must read!. Absolutely loved this read. This romcom mixed with a suspense element kept me hooked until the end. Loved the banter and chemistry between Thom and Betty as well as the supporting cast. This is s definite must read!

Yikes. This book had a lot of potential. Sad I waisted my money on it.

Wow! Just, Wow!. Thom and Betty—their names are quite common but their story is just the opposite. They were engaged but Betty was, literally, on the threshold of leaving him when the house explodes. Thus begins this edge of your seat, fast paced romance, as Betty discovers her ex-fiancé is not what he claims to be and Thom has to fight not only to keep her safe, but to win back her love.

Lies is a superbly hypnotic adventure!. Lies is a superbly hypnotic adventure in up storytelling!! Where you are so fully transfixed in the plot turns, the words! You're transported to Betty and Thom’s world and you feel that you have become one with the book story! Only to be hypnotized with brilliant suspense of it all till every end!!! AMAZING!!

WOW – this might be the best cross on a romance and action/suspense book I’ve ever read!. WOW – this might be the best cross on a romance and action/suspense book I’ve ever read! Right through the end of the book, Kylie had me guessing and going through a whole range of emotions and feelings while also shocking and surprising me throughout. Betty has been dating Thom for a year and while things aren’t terrible, they aren’t great either and it prompts her to leave him. While secretly moving her things out, there is an explosion, and soon we find out bits and pieces of who Thom really is. With Betty having no clue, she feels more betrayed than before by Thom, who continues to dig himself into a bigger hole the more he answers her questions. What surprised me though is how throughout the book and the situations they are faced with, they end up reconnecting and her feelings grow stronger than they ever did! I loved that the romance line ran concurrent with the suspense of trying to find out who was trying to kill everyone. It made for the most enjoyable read and I couldn’t put the book down. I loved this book so much especially since is surprised me as I went in with no expectations. I can’t wait to see where/if she takes this style/series further – I’d totally read! Flat and boring. Confusing story same old descriptive scenes found this frustrating to read - I have readKylies books before this is not one of her best

Great escapism. This was a lot of fun, and kept me entertained throughout. A lot of LOL moments, and a few hot sexy times. What I loved though was the action, which held my attention throughout. This is apparently inspired by True Lies, one of my favourite classic movies.

Insanely good. An absolute roller coaster. The plot twists are 5/5 stars.

Thank you for this great stand alone.. I loved this book! It had a good dose of sexual tension, chemistry, action and intrigue that kept me turning the pages non-stop. It was a quick and easy read, which I love.

I would love for the author to revisit the characters adding stories for the rest of the zoo. LIES is a fast paced story of suspense and mystery, secrets and lies. The premise is engaging and intriguing; the characters are energetic, colorful and charismatic; the romance is a rekindling relationship between two people caught in the cross-fire of international espionage, power and control.
