Beautiful story. Beautifully told. I could not read it in one sitting because I was crying. Loved it though. And a satisfactory ending. So often I read a book and am disappointed in the ending. But this one held me to the last word.
I didn’t get the whole book. I’ve tried to read this and I only see 69 pages, one page per chapter and cannot see any of the pages.

The Girl Behind the Gates. This was such a beautifully written story. Nora grasps your heart and never lets go.
Heart breaking, heart wrenching, heart lifting. This book, wow. I am truly humbled by Nora and her strength of character and will. Her achingly painful story made me cry at times, but no harder than the tears of joy that fell at the end of her story when she became truly and fully herself. An inspirational read that I will carry with me in my heart.
