Isolation Baking is a treat!. Jamie’s recipes are always sublime. She’s been a rock for isolation cooking and baking since the beginning of our time at home. This is an extraordinary gift to us all.

Just what’s needed in this upside down world. I started following Jamie on Twitter for her political wit and wisdom. As a former ex-pat, I’m always interested in how our overseas citizens view our political landscape. Is the lens liberal or conservative? While her observations are pithy and erudite, there is a genuine warmth to her keen intelligence. Having followed her “isolation baking” recipe tweets on Twitter, what a fun surprise to find this ebook filled with not only the the Twitter recipes but many more. Can’t wait to get started.

Mouth-watering. I learned of Jamie via her Twitter feed. Her recipes are simply mouth-watering. The only problem is, if I made all the recipes, I’d gain way too much weight.

Isolation Baking. Something for everybody. Just flip through, you’ll see! Don’t be fooled by the title.

What a great resource!. I’ve made several of the recipes in this book and can’t wait to make more! The instructions are easy to follow, the recipes are very forgiving, and the food turns out great. Very generous of Jamie to share this with us during quarantine.

I love LOVE the recipes especially for Jamie’s quiches, horseradish sauce, clam bowls. Comfort Food. Baking Appeal. Jamie Schler’s recipes and photography make her latest book a standout! I could slurp up the cover alone. . . but will try to control myself! If you haven’t got Orange Appeal on your cookbook shelf, you need that one, too.

So amazing. I started following Jamie on Twitter and made the soups to give to neighbors and desserts for my husband. It’s been wonderful to taste her thoughtful work. Some day when this is over I am going to visit her in Chinon. Thanks Jamie!

Lovely. I have followed Jamie Schler on twitter with this series. This compilation of recipes includes beautiful photography and clear directions for the recipe. I have made only two of the recipes thus far, but have marked many more to try. The two attempted, were delicious. In my view, you won’t be sorry to try any in this collection.

Great title!. Jamie’s, “Isolation Baking” cookbook is superb. I made the french bread and am looking forward to making many other recipes in her book.

Isolation Baking. If you want the best-of-the-best book of its kind—buy this one. Some people call her books, cookbooks. I call them adventures in cooking/baking. I made her cream puffs the other day and my first bite was unbelievably good. If you buy it, you’ll be saying “thank you.”

Wow!. Inside Isolation Baking, there are beautiful photos and recipes galore - from salads to desserts - to make and savour during (and after) this extended time of Staying At Home. The recipes are laid out perfectly, with clear and concise instructions. I immediately bookmarked the recipes for leek and potato soup, cauliflower and potato gratin, lemon risotto, lemon chicken pasta with peas, chicken with preserved lemons and olives, gözleme pastries, and mushroom and caramelized onion quiche. They are calling to us... Jamie has also included delicious looking breads, biscuits and scones. (I haven't dared to look at the cakes yet.... But we KNOW from her other cookbook, "Orange Appeal", that Jamie makes great cakes!) Ha!! With all these wonderful choices, we won't realize we're confined!!
