Entertaining Read. This is the first book I have read by this author but it certainly won’t be the last, I really enjoyed this captivating story that’s full of twists, turns and lots of secrets. Joe is a Marine who is now home after a mission in Afghanistan went horribly wrong, his buddy committed suicide on that mission after receiving a letter from home. The whole unit got hurt and sent home so now Joe is looking to get his life back to normal but one night in a local bar brings him face to face with the woman who wrote that letter. Revenge is sweet unless you have the facts wrong.... This is a story with all the feels, the characters are deep and strong, the plot is written well and the secrets and twists keep you on the edge of your seat once you add in the attraction and the passion you get a perfect enemies to lovers, revenge story. Looking forward to reading more by this author as soon as time permits.

Enjoyable. Victoria Saccenti is a new author to m and how I have not come across her before, I have no idea. There’s a fine line between love and hate as there is with revenge. Joe, an ex-marine is convinced that Hunter is responsible for one of his “brother’s”committing combat suicide and when the opportunity arises, is determined to seek revenge. He is a Dominant who lives the lifestyle and yet he plans to seduce Hunter and exact revenge; not all is as it appears and Joe slowly learns the truth. What he doesn’t count on his that Hunter is a natural submissive and his perfect for him. Both of them are keeping secrets and when they are revealed will their blossoming relationship be able to withstand the truth or will it be shattered, beyond repair. The author did a good job in explaining the lifestyle and the relationship between a Dom and his submissive and I enjoyed the dynamics of this book. The chemistry between Joe and Hunter sizzled and it was interesting to watch their story play out through their exploration of BDSM.
