Amazing!!. Amazing anthology of classic fairy tales with a darker twist. I particularly enjoyed Skye Warren’s contribution on the tale of King Midas. Raoul Midas is a genius as a businessman. He eschews love and only enjoys escort type services. Anita needs money to help raise her sisters. When Raoul hires her he wants more. Great quick, darkly romantic read.

Ugh. This was free all I lost was time. Some of the stories are brutal - brutal murders. I skipped through & didn’t enjoy this collection of stories

Fairytales like no other!. ~The Fairest by TM Frazier (3.8 stars) Chase Huntington III is rich and can have anything but he has a dark side and it wants to come out to play! When he is hired to eliminate someone’s competition, things might not go as planned. Neve Blanca wants something darker than the other girls. Her wish just might come true! This is a modern-ish, dark retelling of a red lipped, raven haired darling. Told in dual POV ~”Swan princess” By Natasha Knight (5 Stars) Salvatore Benedetti stars in this dark retelling. A costume ball and a forbidden girl by the name of Lucia who at midnight belongs to him! A great short story, prequel of the Benedetti Brothers Mafia Series book 1. Told in dual POV ~“Beauty & The Beast” By Willow Winters (4 stars) Calum Harrison wants his debt paid & he wants Annabelle Belle to repay it. They meet at the masarade ball and he won’t take no for an answer. What will become of this beauty and her beast? A clever dark modern twist to a classic. Told in dual POV

An interesting read!. This was indeed a unique purchase and well worth the money! Fairytales like you e never heard them. You wont be disappointed.

Loved it!. Beauty and the Beast by Willow Winters This modern short story of Beauty and the Beast retelling had the essence of the original story, but Willow Winters’ version of a crime family delivered a very dark, different, and enthralling tale of beastly wrath and blooming love. I love retelling of fairy tales and this one had me hooked right away from the start—a beast lurking in the dark corners. Callum Harris is fearless, epitome of dominance—the beast of all beasts. Anabelle is a beautiful woman, and her father owes Callum money. Anabelle is also a woman who can see beyond the beast’s mangled face. Will Anabelle be used as a pawn to repay her father’s debt? What will happen between the Beast and the Beauty? Beauty and the Beast had me hooked from the first sentence, and as soon as I finished reading, I was depressed that it was over. If you are a lover of retellings, dark romance, and a courageous heroine, then this is the book you do not want to miss.

Enjoyable. Loved all the crazy twist to the stories.

This anthology is just the shadow of the monster that lurks in the dark, the dark that lures/calls you and you can’t resist. Every single short novella in this anthology traps you into a new dark romance world, believe me when I say if all anthologies are like this one, I’ll gladly sell my soul to the devil!!

Too much raunchy content. Would have been a great book but it was too raunchy for my taste. I couldn’t get past chapter 3, way to much “adult content” so much so that if it were a movie it would be rated R.

So steamy!. So steamy! The modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast is filled with angst and all sorts of heat. It’s short, but an updated version of the fairytale for sure!

Short and sweet. Loved these mini fairy tales. I wish they could have been longer. Would read this again

Really good.. Interesting stories with great characters. The stories were all different even though all the characters met at the ball for Tinsley Constantine. Some are darker than other but they were all good.

Who doesn’t love a good fairy tale?. Who doesn’t love a good fairy tale? ✨ ARC REVIEW ✨ I’m here to review Cora Reilly’s short dark fairy tale — King Thrushbeard! Hot hot hot! It’s always fun when you find a fairy tale for adults and this one checks all the boxes! It’s such a read, a page turner that leaves you wanting more and more! It is a short story linked in with the other authors and their own dark fairy tale shorts, I only had the pleasure of arc reading for Cora, as I said it’s a short story so it’s very to the point it both leaves you satisfied and makes you want more - like a favourite dessert! You’re full but it’s so good you have to have more! The characters are great and for a first time meeting them, you vibe really well and just want to know every single little detail about them! Jean and peyton — they definitely know how to play a dirty, steamy hot game and who doesn’t love a little chase when someone is playing hard to get. It was a great short! Thank you Cora for the chance to read and review! I give it 4/5

Forgettable. Basically a very soft-porn trashy romance novel. Forgettable. I deleted it after the first story and a bit once I realised the whole novel was going to be the same.
