Forester Savage didn't need any distractions. He had his bakery, his family and friends and that was enough for him. At least until he decided to shake all of that up. Now he had to contend with the man he had seen as a sort of enemy but now wanted him. Forester didn't like that his conceptions of this arrogant, unfathomable and unreadable man was shaken. Yet now it was, Forester wasn't the type to back away from a challenge. And everything about Gilbert challenged him and made him want things he should not.
Gilbert Harmon was methodical with everything he did. It had taken him time to figure out if going after Forester was a good idea. From his first sight of him he knew the man would be trouble. Yet he could not get him out of his mind and when he finally decided to do something about it, he was proven correct. There was something about Forester that drew him and he could not walk away. He was trouble but to Gilbert he was necessary trouble.
This book is best read in order as part of the series.
