Great Mafia Series. This is the 2nd installment to this series. Great world building with beautiful characters. This book is packed with action, mystery and steamy scenes. If you are looking to discover a new mafia world then this series is a must read. Author Ophelia Bell doesn’t disappoint as she brings us and original world of danger, thrills, mystery and fascinating characters. Full of suspense and love. A great book that will pull you in from the start. Full of action, suspense, intrigue and love you can’t find a better combination. Hope there more - I can’t wait to read it

Smooth Moves. JJ aka Mason meets Callie when he goes to the ER needing surgery for spinal injuries, eyes gets locked between them but nothing occurs until three years later.

Enjoyable read. The book has it all - danger, suspense, action, romance and family. I loved the connection between Mason and Callie, the main protagonists of the book. I will definitely read the others in the series, as I would like to find out what happens to the other characters.

Thrilling romantic read. What a fantastic book! I was pulled immediately into the characters and their story. Callie getting out of her comfort zone and Mason trying to be a better man than his father. Each comes with baggage (that adds to the story rather than detracts) that makes for an action packed and suspenseful Story. You can’t help but cheer for Callie and Mason as well as getting to know a little bit about the other characters as well. The book is basically can be a stand alone read (meaning you don’t need to read book one to understand this story) however for me, the book does make me want to know the other characters in the series as well. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic book. This may be the first book I’ve read by Ophelia Bell, but it definitely won’t be my last. This page turner is a steamy read that had me flipping the pages to see what would happen next. Callie and J.J. first meet when he’s brought into the ER with a gunshot wound, along with his brother, Maddox. Callie is assigned to J.J. and he is doing well, so much so that he asks her out. At her next shift, she’s going to agree to go out with him, but he’s no longer there. She’s told he died. Fast forward three yeats, J.J. is now Mason. No spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens. The suspense will have you on the edge of your sear. I look forward to reading the other books in this series. Page turner. This is the second book in this series. To get the best understanding of this book I would read them in order. This is Callie and Mason's story. There’s plenty of action drama surprises and steam. Great interaction and chemistry between the characters. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book via Booksprout.

Must Read. I’m super impressed how Ophelia always manages to make what ever genre of book that she’s writing completely hookable. Very enjoyable. This is quite an enjoyable read. It is a bit dark, a bit spicy, and a bit mystery. There’s action, drama, and fight scenes. There’s great interaction between characters, lust, family and relationships, angst and a great read.
