#1 book off the chain.. All four book are the best I have ever read. Off the chain. I read all four books in one weekend. This writer is amazing. Can't wait to read more of her work.

In awe. This series has got me on the edge of my seat. I ain’t never hit buy on a book so fast in my life. Seriously can’t put them down!

Refreshingly captivating!!!. This series had me on edge all day because I just couldn't wait to get home and read more ! What a unique storyline and from every perspective! I've read so many books, but this series made me remember why i enjoy reading in the first place! I laughed and cried with the characters. I'm just sad that it had to end ...now what am i going to read???

Torn. On the one hand, I'm drawn to this storyline, it pulls me in and I can't stop reading. I flew through this book and went ahead and bought the third. But this book is so grammatically flawed it's difficult to read. The first and third books, though not entirely perfect, having nothing on this one. I'm not even sure the author has ever been introduced to punctuation. There were times I had to stop and puzzle out the meanings of sentences due to spelling mistakes, missing words, and lack of punctuation. It is sloppy, embarrassing work. My best advice is to get through and it get on to the next one, if you want to know what happens. This one ends in a cliffhanger anyway, so in addition to suffering through the horrible writing, the book has no conclusion. Yuck.

Almost broken. This series keeps getting better and better. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Nothing like it. This book was so good, I stayed up late just to finish it. It was so worth it.

*wipes tears* I Love It! 💙💚❤💛. The story definitely takes it to the next level and the secrets of Cal start to unravel. Chris is such a sweetheart and a gentleman, where Cal is the sexy badass~ Oh Jenna tho, I really wanted to slap that... incredibly annoying mouth off her face, she couldnt shut up. I don't know why Chris tolerated her😑 This was even better than i expected it to be & Portia adds more twists to the story but I won't be a spoiler. It was indeed excruciating waiting for the second book to come out now that I've finished it, it feels like an eternity away until the last book comes out! Portia is an expert at killing readers of the suspense ! I cant wait for book 3 ! 🍃🌸😬🌸🍃

Solid Book.. I enjoy this book and the series as a whole. I enjoy how it's not cliché and there's the major twist. I read all of the books (in order) over the span of a few days. That's how intriguing it is!! Would recommend.

Great series. I love this series. I can't stop reading. But there are so many grammatical errors. Who edited this series? Commas are in the wrong places and words added where they shouldn't be. Very annoying but great story.

Great read. This is one of the first times I had to purchase sequels. Also the first time I felt the need to review. The first 2 books are amazing and keep you reading all day. My only reason for 3 stars is spelling and grammar. These book need to be edited badly.

If I Break and Almost Broken. A very trying attempt by author to stretch the story into several books which could be finished in 2 books. Too long-winded with insufficient peaks and suspense to keep reader's interest. Not a page turner.

Fire your editor!. I liked the first book a lot. I bought the second book and the story is good, but was this book even edited!? I'm wondering why I PAID for something that had that many errors. I couldn't get passed some of the mistakes. I want to get the tied and final book but I'm worried that it'll be worse! The editor of this book should be fired!

EDITOR NOW. The story is good. But the flow, consistency, misspellings, missing words, inaccuracy, I could go on, is HORRENDOUS. Was this even proofread? Hire an editor stat and release an update for everyone's sake.

Almost Broken. Love this series..lots of fun. The e-Book was filled with misspelled words, wrong placement, and mixed sentences. Wonder if hard copy had this many errors.

So Many Typos!. The plot and character development were interesting and kept me reading, but there were so many typos and grammatical errors I almost stopped reading several times (I'm talking several an every single page). I'm pretty upset that I paid for a book that the author didn't bother to have edited. That's just sloppy and unprofessional.

Mixed review. I was totally hooked on all of the broken books, loves the storyline and couldn't put them down, however the number of spelling and grammatical errors in the books is unbelievable. I'd have thought that they would have been proofread but they can't have been. I noticed apostrophes, commas and full stops placed incorrectly as well as effect spelt affect, rapped spelt raped and that's just to name a few. Luckily the storyline was enough to keep me reading.

Broken series by Portia. I think it's Chris testing- to see if it is really him she wants or Cal. Can't wait till spring. Xxx exciting xxx

Good book but the spelling mistakes and errors drive you crazy!!. This book is great and the storyline has had my gripped, but the amount of errors, misspelt words, doubled up words, words in the wrong places and visible words crossed out and replaced has done my head in. Think the author needs to take the profit she has made and get some grammar lessons. Disappointing considering these books are rather highly priced for all the mistakes.

Couldn't put it down. This was a great read, you really learnt about the characters more in this book. There were a few grammatical and spelling errors throughout the book, but I probably picked them up easily because I'm a journalism and English literature student. This book was a pleasure to read and the author has done an amazing job. Super excited to read the next instalment, when it comes out !!!!

A MUST READ!!!. I read Almost Broken as soon as I found out it came out and it is AMAZING! I loved getting to know Chris and I know that most people are on Team Cal, but I'm hoping there won't be ONE winner at the end......I'm hoping that somehow Chris kinda learns to live with Cal, like both their personalities combine so it IS CAL AND CHRIS.....it sounds confusing bt yeh.....I tried 😊 so she gets the best of both worlds type thing bc Lauren such an strong woman, she deserves them both.

A good story that needs some serious editing. I love the plot for this story and its a great read. However, having to edit the story while I'm reading is very distracting.

Excellent read!. Loved the first book; loved the second; can't wait for the "finish"! However, they should employ some better proofreaders...not great...you have to re-read sentences because punctuation marks are not there. I'll still buy the next book though - I need to know how it ends!

Incredible. This book is worth your time to read if your a fanatic of romantic novels. Full of twists, miseries and the story seems real. It will make you cry lol, sad, love and has great thrilling effect. I recommend this for people to read😊

Great Book!. I wasn't a fan of the first book as it felt like a train wreck I couldn't stop watching. This one was better and after reading the 1.5 version before this helped a lot. Note: there are quite a bit of spelling and grammatical errors (don't think there was a proofreader before it was published) which was at times tough to work through but otherwise not a bad read. Looking forward to the finale in book 3.
