Opposites attract. Heroic Measures is the 6th book in the Blackbridge Security series, told in dual POV. This is Jude and Parker’s story and it’s a fantastic addition to the series. I’ve been waiting to read about Jude and this book did not disappoint! Jude is the medic for Blackbridge and a bit of a book/research nerd, but a very sexy one, lol. He always has some knowledge to drop on the guys, even if they didn’t ask for it. Parker is best friends with Hayden from Calculated Risks, book 5. She’s outgoing and flirty, the complete opposite of Jude but she has a thing for the quiet, shy type. I really enjoyed their story but there were times, a lot of times, I wanted to smack them both. While the chemistry was there and the time they spent together was more than satisfying, they were both so stuck in their heads when it came to their “relationship”. The push and pull was real in this book but when they both pulled their heads out, it was completely worth it. I can’t wait to see more of them in future books! Thank you Ms. James for another amazing read!! From the ending I’m assuming Gaige is next and it seems like there’s another great story there!!!

Jude and Parker. This book of the series IMO was is the best so far!! Jude and Parker rank right up there with my favorite couples of all time. Jude is shy but smart and sexy while Parker is confident and independent but has walls built around her heart so high. Will Jude be able to break down those walls?

Heroic Measures. Jude and Parker are an interesting couple. I had to chuckle when the 31 yr old virgin Jude finally lost his virginity. Puff Daddy makes a few appearances which I love and Jude and Parker weave their way through social interactions and some of it is comical. Enjoyed the HEA in the end.

It’s always the quiet ones!. I loved this book. I love that we switched the typical roles of a story having a female virgin main character and instead we had sweet Jude. Jude and Parker’s story falls along the same time as Quentin and Hayden. We finally get to see the story behind the interactions Hayden and Quentin saw. Jude and Parker are on fire together, but even though Jude is the shy one, Parker is fun shy to commitment and feelings. This leads to some rocky times in their budding romance. This story isn’t all about the drama and suspense of a bad guy trying to hurt Parker but focuses more on the relationship. I happen to love that the drama and suspense is second to the romance. I love watching the characters develop and learn about each other. Parker and Jude are both stubborn but when they finally admit to their feelings things get even spicier. They definitely give Wren and Whitney a run for their money in that department. It’s always the shy ones you have to watch out for! As always this is a great addition to the series and I can’t wait for more! And of course Puff Daddy makes his appearance known throughout the story and it’s hilarious! Puff Daddy knows how to steal the show and tries his damndest to steal the girls!

Opposites attract. This was such a good story about Jude and Parker. Funny and a bit heartbreaking to see two people not be able to get out of their own heads long enough to make something special happen. In the end, of course, love prevails. Plus a side of Puff! Marie scores again…..what will happen to Gaige next?!

Has you on the edge of your seat. Heroic Measures has you on the edge of your seat for a very good portion of Jude and Parker's story. These two frustrated me to the point I was yelling at my kindle. Two people that are drawn together but allow their insecurities to rule their hearts get caught up in misunderstandings, hurtful actions and words left unsaid. Parker is an independent woman who has allowed the mistakes of others to cause her shame and make her live a life based on these misconceptions. Jude is the man with no experience but knows what he wants but is totally lost and confused. As these two dance around the chemistry and connection you will be taken on a journey of drama, suspense, passion and lets not forget the witty banter that Puff Daddy always provides for our entertainment. A story that will at times make your heart ache but ultimately will end with your heart full. Can I just say that Jude might lack the experience but these two together will heat up your kindle to have it on fire.
