New beginnings. Donna managed to break my heat and mend it all in one book! Dragons everywhere flying free, a new enemy, bonds being made, Baby Pearl & Vaughn finding his mate which happens to be Con’s daughter!?! Sigh Eurwen really is the best of Con and Rhi, although at first she held on to her hate for them she has an open heart & mind. Vaughn of course shows her the way! We get to see the very first Mating done of a Dragon King and Queen<3 I really wanted to throttle Brandr, he’s more like his father then he realizes but then he managed to show that he’s got a bit of Rhi in him also. Saving little Pearl for Clair and V… heart melting! I’m sure they have a long way to go with this new enemy on Zora but at least he realizes he will need his Mother, father and the other kings help to defeat it and hopefully he’ll see just how truly amazing they all are.

The Saga Continues. Just when you think the dragon stories could not get any better, Donna once again proves she is a great story teller. The characters pull you in to their stories, you feel what they feel and you believe in the power of love. Not only does she capture your emotions through each of the characters both primary and secondary, but she ends with a “happy ever after”, but still keeps you intrigue to continue the saga with the next book. I read this book in a day and honestly I can’t wait for the next one. Donna is a master at pulling you in and keeping you intrigue not only through the book you currently are reading but wanting to read the next one each time, and she does not disappoint when you read the next one. Although this is book two in the Dragon Kings saga, it’s also a book that can be read on its own.

Fantastic addition to this thrilling series!. A wild ride! I love this new Dragon Kings series with new faces and the old ones I’ve come to love. The realm Zora where the dragons live free is outstanding. Finally, we get to see them living out loud and large. No hiding. The only problem? One of Zora’s leaders doesn’t want the Kings there. So sad. After the Kings have been separated from their dragons for millennials. But these are new dragons with little to no knowledge of their King after so long. And that leader? Well, it’s one of the twins! Yup, Con and Rhi’s kids are in charge of Zora. Brandr is the one with a huge chip on his shoulder. But sis Eurwen is more lenient. In fact, she opens a door between the realms in invitation for her parents. So exciting to see Con and Rhi getting to know the twins. But there’s so much more. Con’s right hand King, Vaughn finally finds his elusive one night love after years of searching. Guess who? Eurwen! The beauty is magnificent even if she’s leery of love. Vaughn has work ahead of him to convince her of the love they share and that they’re mates. There’s so much more as one couple fight to save their child and a new foe appears in Zora. The evil targets the dragons with dire consequences and Eurwen is in peril. It takes Vaughn and his dragon powers to save her. There a few poignant moments in this story. There’s a resolution to the Silvers that have been sleeping for centuries. Uplifting but a little sad too. Tons of storylines for new stories in this new world. A new evil foe, fabulous characters and lots of exciting romance to come. We have lots of sexy hunks and I can’t wait to find out where their mates come from. This is a terrific story with a sexy romance, thrilling danger and intrigue, and a new addition to this wonderful family. Absolutely fantastic! 4.5 stars

Amazing!!!. Emotional and Tearful Roller Coaster This is by far one of my favorite books she’s written. The story of lost love. The one you keeping looking your whole life for! Tug of war between what the heart wants and the brain wants! I couldn’t put this book down. This is a second book in spin-off of the dragon kings! If you want a world you’ll never want to leave I suggest reading the whole dark world in order! Donna grant kills it!!

Wow! Just Wow!. Ever since we found out about “The Twins” existence and we learned that they ruled over the dragons, we have yearned to know more. Every little snippet was eagerly awaited, analyzed, dissected and absorbed. We longed to know why they refused to meet their parents or any of the Dragon Kings. What happened to the dragons after they were sent away? When did they come to earth and how much do they know of their parent, Dragon Kings, or Dreagan? Finding out Vaughn not only had a history with Eurwen but had no idea who she was is titillating. Following them on their journey of discovery, learning about Zora, and answering some of our many questions, Ms Donna give us just enough to make us beg for more. Vaughn has been a series favourite throughout the Dark King Series and to know that he would finally have his story was both eagerly awaited and dreaded. The lady to win his heart had to live up to the clues we gleaned throughout the other books as well satisfy our imagination. Thankfully Eurwen does all this and more! A Dragon Queen, daughter of Con and Rhi, magical co-ruler of a magical realm ... well done Ms Donna. Well done!

4.25stars-revealing, tragic, emotional. 4.25 stars--DRAGON MINE is the second instalment in Donna Grant’s contemporary, adult DRAGON KINGS erotic, paranormal, fantasy romance series-a spin off from the author’s DARK KINGS and the other numerous interconnected series. This is Teal Dragon King Vaughn, and half fae-half dragon hybrid Eurwen’s story line. DRAGON MINE can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion I recommend reading INFERNO (Dark Kings #18), and DRAGON REVEALED (Dragon Kings 1). WARNING: If you have not read the DARK KINGS series or DRAGON REVEALED, there may be spoilers in my review. Told from several third person perspectives including Eurwen and Vaughn, DRAGON MINE follows Teal Dragon King Vaughn as he searches for a woman he met hundreds of years earlier, a woman he believes to be his fated mate. When King of Dragon Kings Con and his mate Light Fae Rhi cross the portal into Zora, in an effort to meet the children they never knew and reconnect with the dragons they have not seen in thousands of years, Vaughn asks to go along, believing his mate may be on the other side. Enter half fae/half dragon Eurwen. What ensues is the building relationship between Eurwen and Vaughn, and the potential fall-out as someone or something is targeting the dragons in Zora. Eurwen and her brother Brandr have lived in Zora for all of their lives. Having never met their met their biological parents, and believing to have been abandoned, Eurwen and Brandr want nothing to do with the Dragon Kings until life in Zora begins to spiral out of control. Vaughn knew the woman he met years before was probably his fated mate but in all the years he has never been able to locate the woman, except in dreams, which were only too real to call fantasies. Eurwen and her brother made a pact never to cross the portal to Earth but Eurwen wanted something more, wanted to know about the dragons and Fae from whence she came. Meeting and falling for Dragon King Vaughn meant Eurwen had to remain in hiding, believing the Dragon Kings would take what didn’t belong. The relationship between Eurwen and Vaughn began hundreds of years earlier but Vaughn could never find the woman with whom he would fall in love. Eurwen is part Fae, and therefore doesn’t believe in fated mates until she reconnects with our storyline hero, a man who stirs something deep within our story line heroine. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate, erotic and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and familiar secondary and supporting characters including a number of Dragon Kings and their mates: Con and Rhi, V(lad) and Claire, Ulrik and Eilish, Varek and Jeyra. The Silvers will finally have a place to call home. DRAGON MINE is a story of family, pain and heart break; acceptance and revelations; secrets, truths, love and understanding. The premise is emotional, engaging and captivating; the romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are dynamic, charismatic yet lost. DRAGON MINE is a revealing, tragic and character driven story line.

Amazing and well worth reading. This is the second book in the new series and the best one to date. She brings such emotion, makes you cry and laugh sometimes at the same time. She has tied the two worlds together in a way that I’ve never seen before. She gives closures to the sleeping silvers and the pinks, gives so much information about how the twins grew up and what they experienced. Why they feel the way they do about their parents, while giving you an amazing love story between Vaughn and Eurwen. The challenges are different and more in depth then ever before. Highly recommend this book
